The Los Angeles Dodgers have reversed course on the controversial decision to disinvite a group of self-described queer and trans “nuns” from being honored at the team’s 10th annual Pride Night.
“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence … the Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies,” the team said in a statement Monday afternoon after meeting with leaders of the group.

I had a crush on Tug McGraw. And kind of one on Bud Harrelson, too.
Dodgey Dodgers
I guess I need help from a catholic.
In knowing that there are numerous verses in the Bible that openly criticize the laying of the same sex as a sin, and that repeated requests of God to cleanse them of a sin they intend to knowingly repeat is making a mockery of God because they are using God to justify sin, then how can they call themselves sisters or nuns?
“Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” is conscious and hardened opposition to the truth, “because the Spirit is truth” (1 John 5:6). Conscious and hardened resistance to the truth leads man away from humility and repentance, and without repentance, there can be no forgiveness.”

🤣🤣🤣
Scully would have gone nuts.
Yes, this is a hate group and the dodgers will suffer, but in the afterlife
The starting pitcher is Ben Dover.
That would be the starting catcher.
“They are not real sisters or nuns, or even Catholics in good standing.”
Thank you. So this is nothing more than the Dodgers organization cowing down to a con group for the money and thus giving that group worth? Makes me wonder why the church hasn’t denounced them in this public a format as it inclines the church to appear acceptance of the scenario and possibly being part of it.
The catholic church has for many years been very outspoken of their reputation. And they have taken a stand against national recognition before whether it was right or wrong in it’s perception like the sexual behavior of its priest, perceived or not, and its decline in religiosity and falling numbers of the faithful. And it’s very consistent with the church’s latest actions on current hot issues like politics, finances, and even its lack of agreement of policy among the different levels. The dodgers I can expect this type of behavior as they do it for the cash. But why the church acceptance with non-action on this topic?

Looks like Dodger stadium is about be an apartment complex site at least some use will become of it.
According to some, Stoneham was originally thinking of moving the team to Minneapolis. As the story goes, O’Malley convinced him to move to San Francisco. Also, remember when the Giants almost moved to Tampa, Florida in 1992?
Little known fact: On Saturday home games, Vin Scully would have a priest say Mass at Dodger Stadium. Many employees attended along with several Dodger players.

I play this on long drives.
IF WE GIVE OUR MONEY TO TARGET we are denying Christ, and mocking God. Supporting the spirit of the anti-Christ, is acceptance of this evil. Is this the moment when we must choose between Christ and the anti-Christ?
This is the company that Target has been working with and supplying their new “Pride” collection. This is the statement from the company located in the UK.
“Satan loves you and respects who you are; you’re important and valuable in this world and you deserve to treat yourself with love and respect. LGBT+ people are so often referred to as being a product of Satan or going against God’s will, so fine. We’ll hang with Satan instead,” the company stated in another Instagram caption. “Satanists don’t actually believe in Satan, he is merely used as a symbol of passion, pride, and liberty. He means to you what you need him to mean. So for me, Satan is hope, compassion, equality, and love.”
Political winds in Kalifornia only blow from one direction.
I am shocked they were disinvited before they were re-invited.
Absolutely boycott. I have done so since they let men into women’s change rooms.
Might make a difference in Los Angeles. But this is in Los Angeles. So they're all in.
