Klein's:
מָעָה f.n. 1 grain (a hapax legomenon in the Bible, occurring Is. 48:19 in the form מְעוֹתָיו). PBH 2 kernel. 3 a small weight, a small coin. 4 ‘ma‘ah’ — name of a coin in the time of the Talmud. [Together with Aram.-Syr. מֽעָא (= a small weight, a small coin), of unknown origin.] Derivative: מָעִית. See מָעוֹת.
Also, I happened upon this word . I like how it was formed (from a root I've come to from a number of different angles over time):
מְצַלְצְלִים m.n. pl. NH coins (in contradistinction to notes). [From צִלְצֵל (= he rang). See צלצל.]
מעה, plural מעות. as in Aramaic term / Talmudic Era used coin.
