Biden advisers believe they can hold up what the GOP governor calls his “Florida blueprint” as a warning to the country about what would happen if DeSantis or any other Republican wins the White House in 2024 – a human embodiment, essentially, of Biden’s argument that “MAGA extremism” goes beyond Donald Trump.
And along the way, they believe the Florida governor’s record may give them a chance at the state’s 30 electoral votes.
The Biden campaign has quietly started putting campaign cash and efforts into Florida – and will decide in the coming months whether to put more – as it gauges the president’s chances of reversing the reddening of a state he lost by a wider-than-expected margin in 2020.
A dozen top Biden and Democratic officials, several of whom asked not speak by name in order to discuss internal plans, told CNN they’re raring to dig in on DeSantis’ championing of abortion restrictions, his ongoing fight with Disney stemming from the company’s opposition to what critics have called the “Don’t Say Gay” law, his lifting of concealed weapons permitting, his crackdown on unlawful immigration and his consistent railing over “woke” politics.
It’s an insurance policy strategy for a campaign that has so far almost exclusively focused on Biden as the alternative to Trump, who continues to lead Republican primary polls and whom DeSantis has already spent months trying to knock out of the way.
And it comes as Biden advisers push back on ongoing criticism from Florida Democrats that they flubbed their chance last year to damage DeSantis early by not investing much energy or money against him as he ran for reelection, racking up a whopping 19-point victory and tens of millions in campaign funds, likely now headed to a supportive super PAC.

Biden doesn’t need Florida. He just needs Detroit, Atlanta, Philly, and the usual coastal states. If he gets the usual Democrat strongholds, they will just cheat again in these “urban centers” in the middle of the night. Why wouldn’t they?

LOL! I hope they invest a lot of cash in Florida....because they’re completely delusional if they think they have a chance. Between a lot of Venezuelans gaining the right to vote and Leftugees from the North fleeing to the Free State of Florida, as well as the younger generation of Cubans returning to the fold after they saw exactly the kind of authoritarianism from Leftists their parents had warned them about, Florida has become staunchly red again.
No he’s not. Biden is on track to lose well outside of the margin of fraud.

The only way Trump wins is if the economy goes into a head spinning freefall. Voters care about their wallet more than anything else. But... if the economy is merely bad, then feelings, and virtue signaling.

All the understanding and knowledge that has been gained through observation of American politics flipped 180 degrees overnight.

The problem is, the new Americans live in the moment. They don’t care if the economy sucks, as long as they can buy their immediate wants.
Now if the economy takes a serious nose dive, it will make it so even those “basic” wants are unaffordable.
The state the dems are aiming to flip is not florida but texas.
they have flooded texas with illegals they plan to have vote in 2024.
Here’s how the campaign will go down if Trump is the nominee.
All the charges against him are bogus, none the less, right now he’s under one criminal indictment and has a civil judgement against him in a rape case.
All indications are Trump will be indicted in Georgia over the 2020 election and Washington DC over his handling of classified documents.
It’s all bogus and unfair but the Democrats don’t care.
Trump as the nominee could be facing 3 criminal indictments and a civil judgement for rape.
That will be the central issue of the campaign regardless of what the economy is doing.
Suppose Trump actually won the 2024 election and became President again, the likelihood of enough RINO Republicans joining the Democrats to impeach Trump is high ??
What are the odds that Trump could get a fair trial in NYC or Washington DC ???
The entire campaign will be about how you can’t elect someone who is under criminal indictment to be the POTUS.
It is painfully obvious that is how it will unfold. In fact, the Democrats would be stupid not to play that up.
The entire Russian Collusion was a made up bogus story.
Everyone from Obama on down knew what was happening and no one did anything and no one will be held accountable.
Getting away with it unscathed will do nothing but embolden the Democrats, whether it’s ballot shenanigans or framing Trump on bogus charges, no one should doubt the Democrats will do what is necessary to keep Trump from winning.
