Yevgeny Prigozhin says Wagner group will leave Bakhmut, Ukraine, on Thursday.
A Russian mercenary leader is preparing to pull his hired fighters out of Bakhmut, handing over the captured Ukrainian city to Russia's less skilled government troops.
Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner private army, says his soldiers will leave the city on Thursday and hand it over to the Russian military.
'Until May 25, we will completely inspect it, create the necessary defense lines and hand it over to the military so that they can continue to work, and we ourselves will go to field camps,' he said.

No matter your politics, Wagner took the most heavily urban fortress in the world and ground up a huge portion of Ukraine’s combat units.
The west should study their tactics as the workd is more urban than ever.

When Wagner group pulls out for a well deserved rest, Kadyrov and his equally skilled Chechens ( who have been rotated out) are slated to replace them. No worries.
The next round of the West’s “ wonder weapons”, F-16’s , will not change the course of the war, only increase losses.
Vlad still holds all the cards, and there is nothing the West can do, except escalate….sore losers?

It has been a terrible shame the public has had to go to NON western media sources to find out what the reality is.
The corrupted little beggar Zelensky has been on a world tour for two weeks begging nations for money, even Saudi Arabia denied him any support.
That fact alone really, really doesn’t sound like winning to me. He hasn’t been on Ukie soil since Vlad’s hammer started pounding Ukraine into dust. Not present when the DU stockpile was destroyed in Klemensky, absent when the Patriot batteries were damaged ( destroyed?), not present for Bakmut’s fall.
Add to that General Sirsky and Zhaluny have not been seen or heard from for two weeks, all AWOL…what’s up?
