This is of enough concern to me that I’m actually DOING something about it ... ‘prepping’ if you will. One step is finding local supplies (not stores) of food in the event the shelves go bare at the store & actually, I am reducing the amount of ‘grocery’ shopping I do at the store. Currently working on more storage room for food stuffs & talking to family about making sure they can survive if ‘bad’ things happen ... and very bad things are headed our way where food is concerned, if the current trend continues.
We’re doing the same, as you know.
Those that are even partially prepared for emergencies will fare much better.
Been doing this for decades, as I’ve almost always lived in Blizzard and Tornado-threatened areas. It’s just common sense.
And the new ‘common sense’ is to distrust Mother Government at pretty much any level. We are on our own.
Long term access to renewable water will be the controlling factor.
