Tomi Lahren has shared a claim on social media that "mass layoffs" are on the horizon at Bud Light, as the brand faces continued backlash over its collaboration with TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the Fox Nation host wrote: "A current Bud Light employee reached out to tell me things are BAD and mass layoffs are expected. Production is stalled. They can't give the stuff away. Would be so easy if execs would acknowledge their TRANSgression and issue a true apology."
"A current Bud Light employee told me it's not necessarily [Anheuser-Busch] that's woke, but rather 'InBev' that bought the company in 2008 and is now going more woke," Lahren tweeted. "Interesting."
An employee with the company told Patch Media that other threats were made to facilities across the U.S. after Mulvaney's Bud Light post.

But apparently not the woke VP of Marketing, who should’ve been FIRED day one. But instead she gets “leave” in other words, “pay till this controversy dies down”.
And the regular workers get the comeuppance for her actions.
You folks just keep drinking InBev products and ignore this. That way, you can enable what InBev did. lolol. My wife says people will NOT stop drinking beer, no matter what.
Find a craft beer to you and your wife’s taste. There are many bood brands better than the watered down Bud, Miller, Coors labels.
“My wife says people will NOT stop drinking beer, no matter what.”
Yes, but there are plenty alternatives to Budweiser.
Good News!
Yuengling can buy production assets for pennies on the dollar and brew enough for everyone
True!.
I travel to Boise for work.
I pub has local craft beer made on the west coast.
Plenty of choices
How much in losses is that mediocrity of a CEO and the Chairman worth? If Bud wants to clean up their act with their consumers, the board needs to fire the CEO and Chairman pronto and put someone in there to eat crow with their consumers and start apologizing and put this thing behind them. Business is business, pure and simple.
Just my personal opinion, this article nothing more than emotional propaganda in an attempt manipulate people into buying the bear again because you would be bad for making people lose their jobs.
As others said, the VP and other actual decision makers are still being paid, so basically is comes down to a hostage situation, buy the crap or we will fire your fellow plebes.
Out of all the know-nothing, airheads on cable news, Tomi Lahren takes the cake.
continued backlash over its collaboration with TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney.

“Personality”? I thought he was an “Influencer”. Did he get demoted?
The death of Big Beer. Good riddance.

Brand extinction
Normal Americans are bringing a multi-national, billion-dollar empire to its knees.
Yet, we're told normal Americans didn't vote for Trump in 2020, or for Trump candidates in 2022.
InBev products are not big sellers where I shop. The independent microbeers are what sell. The AB brand is ruined. I expect they’ll switch to one of their less tarnished labels and expand that. But people are re-branding away from InBev. That will be hard to overcome. They have to make loan payments and they cannot. Hence the layoffs.
Bud Lite, Addidas & SI. The list is growing.
Switch to making a healthy baby formula. There is still a baby formula shortage be the heroes and make a formula for babies that don’t insult anyone.if Trump can build ventilators then Bud can make baby formula.
“Would be so easy if execs would acknowledge their TRANSgression and issue a true apology.”
No, not at this point. The apology, coupled with public floggings (or at least layoffs of the people involved), in THE FIRST WEEK, was the only way to minimize the fallout.
Obviously an apology would help, but the recovery will now be years in making, at best, and with zero room for more mistakes.
