I agree the constant attempt to sabotage Donald Trump was & still in unconscionable.
Baloney. It will be a fight in the US to get substantial, long-term aid for Ukraine, Germany can’t fund this alone, Hungary is blocking aid, Belarus and Austria and some others refuse to send more aid.
And given it’s a Hillary, State Dept, Obama-regime war, only faux conservatives and sell-outs want to be in bed with Ukraine because of the libtard stench being on them.
Obama/Biden/Hillary-regime shills here on this thread sadly don’t care.

Russia claims it hit a US-made Patriot air defense system

*** Ukraine currently has two Patriot air defense systems in country, one donated by the US and the other donated jointly by Germany and the Netherlands. It is unclear which of those systems was potentially damaged, but taking one out of commission – even for a short period – could affect Ukraine’s ability to defend Kyiv amid intensifying Russian missile attacks.
Russia has targeted the Patriot systems with hypersonic missiles before, US officials told CNN last week, including once on May 4. That attack failed, and Ukrainians successfully intercepted the missile before it could hit the Patriot, the officials said.
After extensive lobbying by the Ukrainians to provide them with the sophisticated air defense system, the US spent 10 weeks training Ukrainian troops on how to maintain and operate it. US and western officials were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the Ukrainians learned how to operate the Patriots, which arrived in Ukraine last month.
Another US official said it is possible that the missile barrage hit one of the Patriot battery’s several components. A complete Patriot battery has six major components: generators, a radar set, a control station, antennas, a launcher station and interceptor missiles. The components operate together to fire a Patriot missile and successfully guide it to its target.
** The “system” consists of twelve vehicles spread out over a large area [I read 40 miles.]
If the Russians hit anything, it would be one component ... maybe one of the launchers but based on Russia’s history of truthfulness, they likely hit a children’s hospital, instead.
OR, more than once :)

The US is only capable of producing 250 rockets a year... Ukraine just fired 32 in that Salvo. NATO is hard pressed to replenish them.
Sooner or later Ukraine will have hold back their firing and or lose targeted positions.
The sooner ain’t from Oklahoma... Kiev is going see a massive swing of momentum to Russia, who has now moved an additional 200K combat troops into Ukraine. The high tide will be Backmuts capture for Ukraine as Russia goes over to the offensive.

I have no idea if that’s true. But if those were Patriot missiles being fired, they cost about $3 million EACH. You can burn through some serious money real quick at that rate.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal called the planned creation of a register of damage caused by Russian aggression a real step towards compensation.
This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to European truth.
“I think we will make a real step towards finding a mechanism of compensation for the atrocities that Russia committed in Ukraine,” Shmyhal said.
“This is only the first step. The next step is to create a compensation mechanism. And eventually there should be a tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression,” he added.
As a reminder, the Council of Europe summit will take place in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. According to Ursula von der Leyen, one of the key topics will be bringing Russia to justice for crimes committed in Ukraine.

Putin has banned top officials from resigning as Russian casualties mount in Ukraine, report says

• Kremlin officials have been banned from resigning, a Russian independent media outlet says.
• According to iStories, there is concern that resignations could hobble the government.
• Those who do try to leave are threatened with prosecution, according to the report.
High-ranking Russian officials have been banned from resigning over fears that their departure could tip the government into chaos, according to a report.
The ban was imposed after a number of top government officials expressed a desire to resign after the start of the Ukraine war, four sources speaking to Russian independent investigative outlet iStories said.
Those who do try to leave are threatened with prosecution, according to the report.
“There are many who want [to leave] after the start of the war. If everyone leaves, control will be lost,” said one source, who was described as an acquaintance of an official in the Kremlin’s Presidential Administrations.
According to the source, the Kremlin sees the desire to quit as a sign of betrayal and officials have been tasked with demonstrating unity by preventing an exodus of civil servants.
“I know of at least two cases where governors tried to leave their posts, but they were not just prohibited by the Internal Policy Department (of the presidential administration), it was also hinted at that they could face criminal prosecution,” a former official with Russian domestic intelligence agency the FSB told the outlet.
The report said that under the mobilisation decree signed by President Vladimir Putin in September 2022, FSB officials are banned from resigning even after their contract expires.
Because the ban on resignations is both illegal and informal, there are exceptions for cases where an official is seriously ill, or is suspected of corruption, said the report.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied the report, describing it as an unfounded rumor, Russian state media outlet RIA Novisti reported.
According to the Moscow Times, the Kremlin has also placed restrictions on which government officials can travel abroad amid fears of defections.”Despite the ongoing conflict, sometimes Putin himself has to review all these lists and figure out who is going abroad and for what purpose,” a Kremlin official told the Times.
Russia’s military continues to experience steep casualty rates. In March, the country was losing an estimated 776 soldiers a day, which dropped to 568 in April, according to UK intelligence.
According to The Washington Post, up to a million Russians may have fled the country after the government launched its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
This has raised concerns in Russia of a “brain drain,” as many who fled were highly-educated and working in skilled professions.
The Kremlin has clamped down on expressing opposition to the Ukraine war, introducing draconian laws outlawing dissent, and jailing scores of critics.
In the wake of its invasion of Ukraine, Anatoly Chubais, a Kremlin diplomat, quit his post and left Russia in protest at the war and later fell ill with a mystery illness.

It was 300 PAC-3 MSE per year in 2018, now increasing to 500 per year. Since this short war is becoming a long war, everyone is looking to increase production ability. One more reason the sooner this war is over the better.
The other side is the ability of Russia's missiles and their production rate. Russian targeting, missile accuracy and production is not great either. Russia can launch around 30 missiles per month. PAC-3s are needed for Kinzhals and defense against saturation attacks, while Ukraine already has extensive air defenses. There are 30 countries providing weapons and aid to Ukraine. Even low production rates have a chance of keeping up with what Russian can employ.
Russia fired 30 mixed missiles and one Patriot battery took down most if not all of them. That is a lousy return for the millions of Rubles in weapons expended. On top of that, Russia just make made a premier US weapon system look very good.
#2. Bakhmut. https://freerepublic.com/focus/news/4153704/posts?page=41#41. Russia is going on the offensive where they can, Bakmut, Vulhedar, and Avdiivka because they can't attack anywhere else. Russian logistics is as bad as the rest of the Russian military.
Ukraine is slowly withdrawing from Bakhmut for a reason. It is a Russian meat grinder and Ukrainian forces are working the northern and southern flanks. Prigozhin may technically capture Bakhmut, then lose both Bakhmut and Wagner. This is what happens when Wagner and flanking Russian army do not have unified command or purpose.
#3. The 200,000, 300,000 or 500,000 Russian troops? This has been talked about since the first Russian mobilization from last September. There was no expected Russian Winter Offensive (™) that would have made Zhukov proud. Instead untrained conscripts were dumped in front of Wagner and other Russians forces and sacrificed. Many literally froze or starved to death. Unknown thousands of those men are already dead.
The unstated fact is this: Russian losses have to be much higher than Ukrainian losses or Russia would have already won.
Didn’t Lockheed sign a contract in 2019 to increase production to 500 a year?
