Report: Data from satellite shows no global warming for more than 8 years
World Tribune ^ | May 14, 2023 | Staff

There has been no increase in global temperatures from July 2015 to March 2023, according to satellite readings, a recent analysis said.

“This fact-based claim draws on satellite readings from the University of Alabama in Huntsville that measure temperatures in the troposphere, a much more accurate method of keeping score than the shoddy records produced by ground-based weather stations,” Christopher Mockton, a British consultant and policy adviser, wrote last month.

“The start and end dates of the New Pause are not cherry-picked,” wrote Monckton, an adviser for Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher who now consults with the Heartland Institute on climate policy. “The end date is the present; the start date is the farthest back one can reach and still find a zero trend. It is what it is.”

Mockton went back even further, to the beginning of satellite measurements.

“The entire dataset for 44 years four months since December 1978,” says Monckton, “shows a less than terrifying long-run warming rate equivalent to 1.3 degrees/century, of which 0.3” degrees has already occurred, leaving a single degree “to go (on the current trend) until 2100.”

For over a third of a century since IPCC (1990), “global warming is proving to be so slower than the 0.3 degrees/decade that IPCC had then confidently predicted (and still predicts today),” Mockton wrote.

The data is relevant “to a question posed to two hapless representatives of the current U.S. maladministration” by Louisiana Republican Sen. John Kennedy at a recent hearing.

Exactly the reason the left had to change the narrative from Global Warming, to Climate Change.

I think more people are slowly figuring out global warming climate change boogeyman is one big con-job all directed and produced by one world globalist elite. Their real motive is to get rid of you and kill off free independent America.

There is a website that shows various land-based weather stations and the changes around them in the last ten years. A station out in a grassy field 10 years ago, and now has a paved parking lot around it.

At our local zoo there was a station about 50 feet from a building an it was in a brushy area. A new “environmental” building was built - half underground. The huge A/C equipment is on a gravel pad and concrete next to the building. About 5 feet away on the gravel pad is the new weather station!

No wonder temperatures have risen!

Which is why they don’t accept satellite data.

Only terrestrial data they can manipulate is acceptable.

DUh. Because it is climate change. It is always bad, always our fault and only government power can save us.

Oh. By the way. Arctic Sea Ice for 2023 (average each month,( and today’s current levels) are higher than 12 of the past 13 years.

Have been steady since 2006-2007. 1/3 of the entire satellite record.

The Tonga volcanic eruption put ten per cent more water vapor into the upper atmosphere.
It has circled the whole globe (By Nov of last year) a lot faster than they thought.

That will remain for at least a decade and what it will do to the weather is being debated.

We see what it did to the weather this winter.

They are beginning studies of what it is doing to the Ozone layer.

44 years is absolutely nothing in world time. Not even the blink of an eye.

This whole thing is a farce.

There is no man made climate change. None. It is simply climate driven by the earth’s orbit of the sun, sunspot activity and the oceans. It is just life.

"There has been no increase in global temperatures from July 2015 to March 2023, according to satellite readings...."

And yet ....

What does that tell you about the correlation between CO2 levels and MMGW?

Time to call local TV stations and explain breathless TV weather bimbos announcing 'a record high temperature' in some poduck city NEED TO ALSO ANNOUNCE WHEN THERE'S A 'RECORD LOW' AND WHEN TEMPERATURES ARE 'WITHIN A NORMAL RANGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR'...

Enough of the stupid drama the 'elites' running these stations are inflicting on their viewers.

CO2 is a lagging indicator.

The changes already happened.

Looks like the increase is roughly 1ppm/yr. So in a hundred years the CO2 level will be at 520PPM WHICH IS STILL VERY VERY VERY LOW COMPARED TO MOST OF THE EARTH’S HISTORY.

Ok so lets see if I have this right. They say CO2 goes up into the atmosphere and causes a “blanket” of sorts around the earth that holds the heat because it cannot go through. If that is the case, then why, if you go outside and look up at the sun, do you feel warmth radiated from the Sun? Didn’t that warmth you feel make it through the CO2 “blanket”?

“In that event, each $1 billion spent on the futile attempt to attain net zero emissions would prevent approximately one ten-millionth of a degree of global warming – the worst value for money in history.”

Spending on zero emissions is going into somebody's pocket. It might not lower global temperatures, but it is boosting the economy by keeping many worthless looters on the payroll.

Isn’t it kind of weird to be measuring CO2 emissions at the site of an active volcano? Isn’t that kind of like testing for CO emissions at the tailpipe of 65 Dodge.

Great article.

"Even if the US, responsible for 15% of global emissions, were able to attain net zero by 2050, its contribution would reduce global temperature by less than one-seventieth of a degree."
