Hutchinson: Trump Will Use Durham Report to ‘Undermine All of Law Enforcement’ (Asa McRomBush)
Breitbart ^ | 5/15/23 | Pam Key

Posted on 05/16/2023 3:08:08 AM PDT by cotton1706

Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said Monday on FNC’s “Your World” that former President Donald Trump will use special counsel John Durham’s probe to “undermine all of law enforcement.”

Anchor Neil Cavuto said, “This comes at a time when the former president himself was hoping that the Durham report would turn the world upside down so to speak. As damning as it is, outside of a low-level ranking FBI agent cited for lying, that’s it. That is the whole kit and caboodle right there.”

He added, “The problem is what we’ll see is that Donald Trump will use this as a means to undermine all of law enforcement. Use it as a means to undermine our institutions are so important in our justice system. For example, the trial last week in New York City rendered a verdict in our justice system that is the envy of the world, and yet we don’t want a criticism of that undermine the respect that we have for our civil justice system, our criminal justice system. That’s what you can expect from Donald Trump rather than serious reform and a serious effort.”

Hutchinson seems adept at inviting contempt upon himself. He’s no “R” except for the fat, single-horned kind.

As he should... The intel agencies, DOJ, and the FBI are rotten to the core. Durham report just covers a small slice of time and look what they done.

The national security agencies ran a soft coup against the sitting President of the United States, disrupting 3 years of his administration but promise they had nothing at all to do with Jan 6

The FBI investigation into Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia in the 2016 election was deemed “seriously flawed” and lacking evidence, according to a report by special counsel John Durham.

Durham’s four-year review criticized the probe for ignoring information that contradicted the narrative of collusion between Trump and Russia.

The FBI’s Inspection Division Report revealed a pattern of disregarding contrary evidence and assuming nefarious intent.

The investigation, known as Operation Crossfire Hurricane, was leak-ridden and fueled media coverage suggesting damning evidence against Trump.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, which followed the FBI probe, found no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia.

Durham’s report highlights that investigators ignored exculpatory evidence and relied heavily on information from Trump’s political opponents.

The report concludes that the FBI acted without objectivity or restraint in pursuing allegations of collusion or conspiracy with a foreign power.

The Clinton-financed Steele dossier, which contained unverified claims about Trump’s alleged activities in Russia, was used to obtain secret surveillance orders against Trump adviser Carter Page.

The FBI failed to disclose to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that the dossier was funded by the Clinton campaign and the DNC, which was a major omission.

Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source for the Steele dossier, may have spread Russian disinformation, but the FBI did not properly investigate or identify him as a potential source of unreliable information.

The report confirms that senior officials, including President Obama, were aware of a claim that Hillary Clinton approved a plan to link Trump to Putin and Russian hacking.

The FBI did not investigate claims of Clinton’s involvement in creating the controversy surrounding Trump’s collusion with Russia.

Durham’s report does not recommend significant reforms of the FBI but emphasizes the need for a renewed fidelity to existing rules.

The report corroborates that Clinton was aware her campaign indirectly paid Christopher Steele to gather information on Trump-Russia ties.

Trump and his campaign did not receive a defensive briefing about potential infiltration by Russia, while Clinton received one in 2015.

Clinton denied manufacturing the controversy and attributed it to Russian disinformation.

Durham’s investigation resulted in only one guilty plea, from former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, for falsifying documents related to a surveillance warrant.

Other cases against Danchenko and former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann ended in acquittals, but Durham had much worse crimes to bring to trail and didn’t.

Asa’s pretty mouthy, considering that he had years to stick it to the Clintons when he was AR governor — but didn’t.

If he participates in any debates, that should be his first question, i.e., “WHY didn’t you?”. And his second, third, and fourth questions, too.

He’s like Biden in Romania educating them on ethics while simultaneously the rest of the family is taking filthy lucre so Joe can get his 10%.

Keep talking Asa and maybe you can get to 1/4 of a percent in the polls. You are a clown with an opinion nobody cares about. You should go join the twin tubs Christie and Sununu. Maybe the three of you together can get to 1/2 of a percent in the polls. I doubt it.

Once a reliable conservative, Asa is now the “AR embarrassment”. Or maybe that designation belong with another former governor.

Translation - Asa is worried that Trump will bust up the Federal law enforcement agencies. (our institutions)
State law enforcement agencies aren't under Federal control, as Asa knows.

Does it matter to these two communists that the FBI and CIA rigged the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections? Probably not!
