...The EV has more power, torque, 0-60, 0-100 than the Ferrari, only lagging by 11 mph in terms of top speed...

Tesla panache: 0

Ferrari panache: ∞

In the 1971 Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash, Brock Yates and Dan gurney drove a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 from NYC to Redondo Beach (2,863) in 35 hours 54 minutes (somewhat slowed by snow in the Rocky mountains), including fuel stops.

You’re luck if you can put a full charge on a Tesla in 36 hours.

Ferrari, if you build an V12 pick up truck, I’d buy it. You could name it the Greta V12.🤓 Or the AlGore...🤓

Most car companies go racing to help them sell cars. Ferrari sells cars to raise money to go racing. Enzo Ferrari started selling cars because racing is expensive. Lesson I learned back in the 1960s. Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

1994 Ferrari Tipo 043 3.5 V12 engine; the most powerful 3.5-litre engine in F1 history By the end of the 1994 season, Ferrari’s Tipo 043 V12 was putting out around 850 hp (634 kW) [27] @ 15,800 rpm, which is to date the most-powerful naturally-aspirated V12 engine ever used in Formula One.

..and the screaming howl of that motor is still the greatest man-made music to date.

I guess some people would rather listen to a whining golf cart.

I’m pretty sure they don’t even like the hybrid crap forced on them by F1.

Under Pressure: The Importance of Getting the Right Amount of Spring Pressure

https://www.enginebuildermag.com/2017/07/pressure-importance-getting-right-amount-spring-pressure/

At some point on the RPM scale, positive air pressure must be assisted, and the valve springs have to be the extraordinary springs that survived break-in testing.

I would assume that Ferrari uses a special purpose machine for breaking-in valve springs.

“It is the client who must choose if they want an ICE (internal combustion engine), a hybrid or an electric car.” Serving its clients and giving them what they want has long been a successful strategy for the company.
