And how many died to deny the russkies a PR victory? I don’t know if the russkies even cared all that much, didn’t see any stories about how this rubble town ‘had to’ be taken by May 9.
Anyone believe the mothers, wives & children of the dead believe their sacrifice was worth it? How about in 6 months, when it all is for naught?
Yes, some russkies were killed and they gave back a few blocks. In any realistic assessment, it won’t last and doesn’t change anything on the ground that I can tell.
PDJT calls for peace, to stop the killing, to figure out a settlement everyone can live with. Those who demand “victory” means hundreds of thousands more dead, or millions if the worst happens. I can’t cheerlead this crap.
