Two transgender children, their parents and two health care providers filed a lawsuit Tuesday arguing that a Montana law that would ban gender-affirming care for transgender youths is unconstitutional.
The ban on puberty blockers, hormone treatment and surgical procedures applies only to transgender youths being treated for gender dysphoria, but that same care can be provided to cisgender adolescents for any other purpose, according to the complaint filed by the American Civil Liberties Union, the ACLU of Montana and Lambda Legal.

More lies and propaganda from NBC “News” - even uses the “cisgender” garbage. Gender-Affirming care would be counseling for people to learn to accept who they are instead of permanently mutilating their bodies to try to escape reality. There is nothing “gender affirming” about men trying to be women and women trying to be men.
Chemical castration to stop your body from engaging in natural processes and surgeries to mutilate / amputate healthy organs is not “medical care.”
We’re dealing with this crap because the medical establishment has been corrupted. Most doctors are too cowardly to speak out. There’s one hero out of Johns Hopkins but the media ignores him.

Gender affirming care should mean, counseling to “affirm”, that someone is the sex they were born as. It would “affirm” that a boy or man is a male, rather than convincing him that he is really female. They way they use the term “gender affirming” care, it really is changing someone’s sex.

Puberty-blockers do what their name suggests. The idea is that suspending unwanted sexual development can give patients time to think about their dysphoria, and whether or not they wish to pursue more drastic interventions. The same family of drugs is used to treat “central precocious puberty”, in which puberty begins very early. Some countries also use them to chemically castrate sex offenders. As with many other medicines used in children, the use of puberty-blockers in gender medicine is “off-label”, meaning that they do not have regulatory approval for that purpose.
Patients who decide to proceed with their transition are then prescribed cross-sex hormones. Males will see the development of breasts and alterations to how fat is stored on the body. Giving testosterone to females boosts muscle growth and causes irreversible changes such as deepening the voice, altering the bone structure of the face and the growth of facial hair.

The MO General Assembly just passed laws banning gender-denying medical procedures as well as banning pretend girls competing in girls’ sports. The governor has said he’ll sign both.

I wish we could take back the language. These are good examples of blatant falsehoods.
1. “Gender affirming” care does not affirm one’s biological sex or gender. They use “gender affirming” to mean one wishes to be the opposite sex. The “care” they render does not “affirm” their sex, it attempts to change it.
2. “Trans” athletes are not being banned. These laws do not forbid transgender athletes from competing. What these laws do, is say that you must compete with those of the same biological sex.
