Awww...sorry. Maybe someone would trade with ya. Thanks for taking the quiz!
The turkey dinner was good. I’ll trade for that.
You got it. I’ll trade with you! 🦃
I forgot last night!
Oh well, better late than never!
You are a Swiss Steak Dinner
You make the everyday sound exotic. Sure, you could settle for “hamburger meat” or “Salisbury Steak” but doesn’t “Swiss Steak” just sound so much more mysterious? It even fun to say.
I would be gonged on The Gong Show.
😊 I’m not ashamed of my beanie weenie results. Although I was hoping for a dollop of those watery mashed potatoes.
LOL! I’d give you ALL of any mashed potatoes I got!
Fun quiz!
“You are a Fried Shrimp Dinner”
In reality, the Mexican Style or the fried chicken one were my favorites. We got to have TV dinners when Mom & Dad were going out for the evening. We loved it. Go figure - my mom was an artist in the kitchen and we had such delicious meals, but we kids got all excited about TV dinners or the burger drive-in.
I hope everyone is doing well this fine evening!
They were a novelty to kids….and you could choose the one you liked, not “eat what’s on the table or not eat at all”. LOL!
Swanson’s Mexican TV dinner. It was much better than any frozen, prepared Mexican that you can get today:

Thanks for taking the quiz!...and for the trip down memory lane! :)
“You are a Swiss Steak Dinner”
That was mine also. Pretty close to what I like in a TV Dinner. The Turkey is not bad. Do the breaded fish sometimes. Wife and I have a TV Dinner about once a year for “old times Sake”. Used to eat a lot of them but now we cook some nice complicated meals at home.
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a TV dinner. I liked them, but we just never buy at the store. We DID used to buy a lot of the Stouffer indivIdual packs from the store and the factory outlet in Gaffney SC. We’d buy them by the case at the outlet. They were usually underweight, overweight or misshapen packages. All safe/edible food. Still, very good stuff. I need to pick up some TV dinners next time I’m at the store.
Yes, Patio was pretty decent; and I think we could still get the Mexican one here into the 1990s; haven’t seen it in supermarkets here in years, though. And it was never as good as Swanson.
I was first introduced to (somewhat) Mexican flavors in the late 1960s, and back then Swanson was all we had...and is still the best prepared frozen ‘Mexican’ I’ve ever had.
