The presence of a T-34 is appropriate and historically symbolic. It was instrumental in the defeat of Hitler and NAZI Germany. I would not ridicule the T-34 in this context.

The absence of modern tanks in the parade is another matter.

Yep, that is the big question. Where are they? Are they all being thrown at Ukraine? The Oryx website says of Russian tanks: Tanks (1938, of which destroyed: 1185, damaged: 103, abandoned: 105, captured: 545)

The other tanks were probably covering the flanks of the 72 motorized fleeing Bahkmut.

Putting the parade together was a tankless job, but someone had to do it.
