Yes. Juries have often been a questionable factor when it came to these types of lawsuits. They tended to punish deep pockets, and it appears that they have done so again. Now, it appears that political philosophy is going to be a factor in certain jurisdictions, which means Trump was having to play with a stacked deck from the outset.
Sadly, he is impulsive and lacks self-control. Who cares if she is or is not her type? It's just not relevant.
But he did it his way, in describing the incident. I'm betting his legal team just cringed when they heard him say that.

Yes, everything about this case stinks. Charges from decades ago that were not made contemporaneously to the police. Difficult for anyone to defend against the charge like this. The question is how much will Americans believe this is part of Trump’s character, and how much of this is simply due to hating Trump. As there was no undeniable, truths, a stained dress, I think the charges should be dismissed, and ignored.

Things are bad when you are starting off with a NYC jury to begin with. Then you have a crooked judge who is making rulings that corrupt and slant the evidence to be against trump.
The fact is that there is no credible evidence. It is all based on “She said”. And there is plenty of reason to believe she made the entire thing up. She is not credible.
So much for the idea of needing real proof to convict someone of a crime. Then there is the thing about the statue of limitations. Which is the changing of the law after the fact. Another unconstitutional action.

The dollar amount is really just to pay her attorney costs. I can see Trump making her legal team spend another fortune on appeals.
You can’t convicted of anything in a Civil suit, only found liable financially. They don’t apply to laws regulating who can be on the ballot.
