The question is, “Who wins in all this?”
Answer: Xi. He gets a much weakened Russia, with who China shares the longest border, he gets a US that is militarily depleted and a US public that is tired of never-ending wars and he will take Taiwan without much trouble..................
Frank Gaffney has mentioned that a bunch of military age Chinese males have been coming up through the Darien Gap with identical kits. What is happening this Thursday?
It seems overused, but the phrase "plan accordingly" comes to mind.
I had an inconcievable thought cross my mind listening to Gaffney: if the balloons go up re: China, and indeed those Chinese coming through our southern border are here to make trouble inside the United States when hostilities occur, would our military not only be given orders to stand down, but actually ordered to act in concert to subjugate the people of the United States?
I see this invasion as having woken up the West and our allies and NATO and the U.S. and is helping us become stronger and better armed, more united, with increased weapons and ammo production, refreshing old stocks with new and improved, and having mostly larger military budgets, and the gaining of Finland and Sweden in the actual NATO team.
What are you seeing that makes you think it will leave us depleted and make us weaker when the time comes to face China?
