When Trump destroyed Jeb Bush and all the other Republicans in 2016, did that help or hurt the Republicans and that primary was especially brutal.
When Ronald Reagan defeated Bush Sr. in 1980 did that help or hurt the Republicans.
When Obama came out of nowhere to defeat Hillary in 2008, did that help or hurt the Democrats, in 2016 the Democrats rigged the primary for Hillary, did that help or hurt the Democrats.
Despite ample evidence a contested primary helps the eventual nominee you either don’t know that or refuse to accept the evidence.
AG Bill Barr, as head of the DOJ, received the Hunter Biden laptop in 2018. He sat on that information, he did not investigate. It appears Bill Barr is part of the “elect Joe Biden” cabal. Do we really want to take advise from former AG Bill Barr?
This illustrates why MAGA republicans will never support ANYONE other than Trump. Barr extinguished any hope the mainline republican party can ever be trusted to bring about the change America desperately needs.

I agree with you, it’s not right but it’s what is happening and the only solution is to win elections, IMO there is no sense in complaining about something we can’t control until a Republican wins the Presidency and even then things getting done seldom happen.
Trump is the incumbent Republican. Primarying him will only hurt, in this case he will win in the end. Ask Gerald Ford. Ask Jimmy Carter. It will also ruin Desantis's chances to EVER be POTUS. The only reason you want a primary is you don't want Trump, which makes you a complete anal pore.
