"We had a Republican majority house and senate for two of those years,

but precious few supported him.

So you’re solution is to give in to those people?

There’s a stupid...

Do you think they will be any nicer to DeSantis if he won?

Would DeSantis have the guts to stand up to the slings and arrows as much as Trump has? And he is siding with the establishment swamp dwellers, who want Trump out. Desantis could have waltzed into 2028 easily if he hadn’t proven to be a backstabber.

These folks are being disingenuous as usual. You may not like the man but the NATION was in a far better place in late 2019 than it had been in DECADES. To say any different is simply gaslighting. Unfortunately Trump has the receipts.

“Ask yourself, I don’t know the full history but has any POTUS ever been elected as someone convicted of crimes and likely hit with a Civil judgement for rape.”

No. But along with that goes the question: has any other candidate for president, then president, then ex-president, then candidate for president EVER been faced with such an onslaught as Trump has experienced.

And the answer to that is also no.

If they convictions happen, they will be POLITICAL convictions (misposting invoices in the ledger?? Please!) and the people will weigh then as they weigh everything else. And so far their desperate (at this point) attempts to convince the people to abandon Trump are failing.

I sure do.

He's their boy.

This is what folks dont understand and what many republicans still fail to recognize. Trump did so much work while having the DS politically attacking him and overall stonewalling from all sides. He embarrassed every lifetime DC hack, by doing in one term, what most of them havent done in decades in office. Its just that petty. These people dont care about the greater good. Can you imagine if the losers worked with him instead of plotting all day everyday against him. To think DeSantis wouldnt fall victim to the very same treatment is naive.

What a lot of Trump supporters seem to believe is it’s Trump or no one.

If Trump wins, that would be fantastic, for me the ultimate goal is winning not just Trump winning, regardless of what happens with Trump, 2024 will be his last election, the world will go on after Trump and to have long term change in the USA we need 2-3 Trump candidates in a row that can win.

Well i mean as long he plays his role…. But if he gets antsy and decides to legislate meaningfully he will be in trouble.

To bad Ron DeBackstabber blew it by challenging Trump now. He was a shoe-in for ‘28 and beyond. What a POS Bushie/GOPe tool he turned out to be.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of ⅔ of independent voters do not approve of Trump. National elections are won with the votes of independents. How is Trump going to turn that around?

The Post hates Trump’s America-first immigration policy. They want open borders. All the rest of the verbiage is meaningless drivel poorly argued.

I guess we will agree to disagree, a contested primary where the ultimate winner has to really work for it makes the candidate stronger.

Biden couldn’t stand up to a really heated contested primary, competition is good.

If Trump is really that dominate, why should Trump, “all or nothing” voters care who is running against him.

For liberals, history began when they woke up on any given day. It has only been a few short years, but I remember how great the Trump presidency was. I also remember the pissy, petulant left constantly screeching about some imagined specter looming in the darkness ready to pounce. It was they who rioted and burned cities. It is they who mutilate children. It also seems the vast majority of mass shooters are leftist woketards.
