No, because without the Bud label nobody would drink it and Aldi would have to take them back under the Twice As Nice guarantee - give them a refund and another one free.

Decades ago I was just promoted in the USAF and was in a good mood. A group of young airmen was pooling their money to buy that generic beer. I told them no and kicked in the money so they could buy a good name brand beer as I was horrified that anyone would have to drink that. I did try it once.

Please tell that the generic beer isn’t still around.

My nephew told me that where he lives the COSTCO had Bud for around $15 for 36 beers.
