Russia has moved to "wartime expediency" more than "war production". The United States in World War II produced new weapons and technologies. The Soviet Union during the Cold War was the same, until it collapsed. Russia has lost so many T-72, 80, and 90 tanks they are getting T-54/55 tanks out of storage. The cruise missiles attacks that started in October dropped off in frequency and number of missiles per attack because Russian production could not keep up.Modern weapons requires computers and electronics of quality, performance, and reliability Russia can not produce on its own. Russia's invasion has shown that corruption inside Russia has been so widespread for so long, her weaknesses are showing more than ever.
