That was quick. San Francisco was thriving. But now it’s going to be the next Detroit.

This is to be expected after they decriminalized shoplifting over $950 and let criminals practically off the hook with no consequences!

I was downtown 5 years ago - it was already zombie town. Now it’s going to be the next Detroit. There’s nothing requiring many of the tech businesses to be there. This isn’t 1980’s or 90’s. I predict a complete exodus, it’s only just beginning. The tax savings some of these companies can get by moving out of CA will get ever more appealing as the financial belts tighten. Without the tax base CA, not just San Fran, will collapse.

Question. Will they continue to tax the individuals and businesses who get the hell out of san fran freako to avoid being taxed to death to pay for reparations?

Or will SF demand the money from the state, which will then go begging to the federal government for reimbursement?

Breathtakingly beautiful. to my mind, having traveled extensively, SF and Boston succeeded more than any other major US cities the worst devastation of soulless modern architecture. The bridges, City Hall, the Opera House, Coit Tower, etc etc absolute jewels. Yet libs can’t help crapping their own beds. It’s heartbreaking. And they’re working hard to do the same to two other beauteous cities, Seattle and Portland

This SF Starbucks’ seating was removed. Employees think they know why.

Maybe the plan is to let it all go to Hell, then, buy it up for pennies on the dollar.
After that, the benifits for the homeless dry up and they are swept up and dust binned.
Instantly, the buyers are sitting on prime real estate.

San Fran is a sewer.
Run in the ground by Democrats.

That town is in an ever increasing spiral. As businesses and people leave, tax revenues decrease. With decreased tax revenues, the city will raise taxes... causing more people to leave... tax revenues decrease some more, so the town raises more taxes. Democrats don’t understand cause and effect.
