It's the front page lead in today's WaPo, but I marked it as 'editorial' because WaPo.

Still it is significant because WaPo is to the Democratic Party what The Watchtower is to Jehovah's Witnesses, so read between the lines to see what they are up to.

Analysis: Preparing the faithful for a change in party line dropping Ukraine.

Bonus: Extra soulful looking pic of Zelenskyy at link. { snicker }

So you’re saying the Democrat elite have extracted all of the bakshish they can and are moving on?

The reporting of “news” is all hype. Facts don’t matter anymore.

Everyone knows WaPo is now pro-Russia, is being paid by Putin, so no reason to trust the usual Ukraine cheerleader who soften the blow for eager neocons in certain situations as needed.

1.) Start by going back around 5 months:

New York Times
U.S. and NATO Scramble to Arm Ukraine and Refill Their Own Arsenals

“...Smaller countries have exhausted their potential, another NATO official said, with 20 of its 30 members “pretty tapped out.” ...”

Then go from there:

2.) According to very recent statements by Zelensky, it’s worse now:

In a recent interview with Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun he declared that “We do not have ammunition. For us the situation in the East is not good.”

3.) Zelensky’s admission adds credence to what the Washington Post recently reported regarding how poorly Kyiv’s forces are faring in this conflict, especially its “severe ammunition shortages” that one of its sources spoke about.

4.) Then here’s The Hindustan Times citing yet another report by the New York Times:

Ukrainian soldiers admit Russia ‘can’t be defeated with West arms...’ | Report
4/28/23

“A shocking admission by Ukrainian troops fighting Russia on the ground has come up. Ukrainian troops on the frontline say that western arms may not be enough to defeat Russia, according to a report by the New York Times. The Ukrainian fighters also expressed their surprise at the amount of artillery, tanks, helicopters, and jets Russia has deployed on the battlefield. The admission comes at a time when Ukraine is already facing embarrassment after its much-hyped spring offensive was delayed. ...”

5.) Ukrainian Army fumes at Pak for supplying ‘poor quality’ rockets | ‘We don’t have ammo...’
4/30/23

“Ukrainian Army is angry over Pakistan’s supply of poor quality rockets to its troops currently battling Russian forces in Bakhmut city of Ukraine, BBC has reported. Pakistan, however, has yet again rejected the reports of supplying arms to Ukraine and claimed that it is neutral in the war between Ukraine and Russia. Watch the video for more details. ...”

6.) Add to #5 Italy sending junk artillery.

“Counter offensive” was just a fundraising and grifting slogan/meme.

Like when the Red Cross sets up some cots in a gym then raises gazillions nationwide for “disaster relief”... but keeps all of it.

“read between the lines to see what they are up to”

The deep-state is planning to (temporarily) pull their splinter out of the Russian lion thus ending the Ukraine war.

Biden can then campaign on both ending COVID-19 and keeping us out of war with Russia.

No one in the press really knows what Ukraine or Russia are going to do now. So they collectively puts out stories covering all angles so they can deny they were wrong and/or claim they were right all along. When most of them have no better idea of what’s going on than their readers.

Well, we’ve seen how well the deep-state has done deposing a leader of an oil producing nation in Libya.

Lucky for us, Libya doesn’t have nuclear missiles otherwise 9/11/2012 could have been a lot more interesting...

Everyone knows WaPo is now pro-Russia, is being paid by Putin

When you start off with incomprehensible nonsense... it completely trashes whatever credibility that you might have been able to establish with your readers. What everyone knows but somehow forgot to mention to you is that the WaPo was bought and paid for by Jeff Bezos and is his mouthpiece.

The Ukraine tragedy has been botched from the very beginning. Just like with the Covid boondoggle, the reality of all heavily propagandized situations eventually starts to leak out, and then the blame game begins. The only exception seems to be the global warming scam, but that has now turned into a religion and its followers have no interest in reality.

That is the primary deception of all "mainstream" journalism.
It applies even when there is nothing controversial about a story.

That is the implicit lie that they know what is going on.

Washington Post, as well as the Times, investigates nothing. All their “news” is fed to them by Dem administrations to promote their narrative. This is the administration prepping the public for the fact that Ukraine is in no position to advance a serious counter attack as they push towards the negotiation table.

Putin supporter this, Russian shill that, this is what the neocons here at FR sling all the time at people, which is why they have no credibility, so they are they ones you must talk to from now on about growing up and cutting out that crap.

But though you have difficulty with sarcasm, it’s fun to feed them some over their own crap nonsense from time to time as they only trust western MSM.

Your text is difficult to decipher. I think that we might agree, but I am not completely sure. I do not typically have much trouble recognizing sarcasm...
