People are surprised when I say that Ken Kesey was one of the most destructive influences in America in my lifetimeYou and I are obviously from the Before Time, I was 18 in 1968 and every time I see a picture of that stupid bus it pisses me off remembering all the ruined lives of people I grew up with.
And now, a hard liner is someone who says "Mutilating people's bodies is OK as long as you don't do it to children".

Certainly in the filed of mental health, but I think the crown has to go to Rachel Carlson whose book has caused the deaths of untold millions around the world. In addition it gifted us the green movement.
