Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said Friday he would send troops to fight in Bakhmut if the Wagner Group pulls out of the Ukrainian city.
Kadyrov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, made the pledge in a statement he posted on his official Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner Group of Russian mercenaries, announced he would be removing his fighters from Bakhmut on May 10 because of an ammunition shortage. Prior to his announcement, Prigozhin published a video in which he angrily blamed top Russian officials for the deaths of Wagner fighters because his units were not being provided with sufficient ammunition.
In his statement, Kadyrov bemoaned the "unpleasant" fallout between Prigozhin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov. He said it was "doubly unpleasant" that the Defense Ministry doesn't meet with Prigozhin because he "deserves respect for the invaluable contribution" he's made in fighting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's forces since Russia's invasion on February 24, 2022.

I gather its a “bring your own goat” party?
Kinda like that but not as well organized or nearly as much fun.
Answers:
- Victory Day
- Very little.
Just a guess, There's a push to complete the capture Bakhmut by Victory Day. Russian regular army troops will replace Wagner forces on the 10th, and Wagner Forces will withdraw for some R&R prior to be redeployed elsewhere, but it will be sold as being permanently retired.
That wouldn't work because it would open up for an Ukrainian counteroffensive in Bakhmut.
Kinda like that but not as well organized or nearly as much fun.

How disappointing - at least they will provide some entertainment for the UA troops ... while they last.
be redeployed elsewhere

]like in one of their plush African endeavors.
Putin needs a fresh, somewhat cheaper leader to 🧹 sweep out the remaining Zelenskies from Bakhmut
Wagner: “Ukrainians bring in 400 - 600 soldiers daily. The same amount gets killed. That’s the story of Wagnerland”
-> Prigozhyn calls Bakhmut Wagnerland … LMAO
PS: Already forgot about retreating?

“Putin Ally Vows to Send Troops to Bakhmut to Replace Wagner’s Forces”
Oh, bummer.
Agreed. Otherwise, how could he remain alive and in command?
There’s no counter. Time to turn off your tv.
It’s a shame it was allowed to even go this far.
In a statement to the "New York Times", he said that these expectations were exaggerated and added that this was one of the main reasons for his concern.
There will probably be one more counter-offensive by the Ukrainians. The Russians are going to try to defend their land bridge to Crimea. Then there will be talks and Zelensky will have to agree to concessions. Right now, no NATO for Ukraine. And Russia gets to keep Crimea. Zelensky wants to take Crimea back. But I don't think that's going to happen. Putin might have to use nuclear weapons to keep Crimea, if it came to that.
And that’s not misinformation? Why would that be broadcast to the world?
.
Everyone knows it will happen. Reserve units are training with Western tanks. The Ukrainians are going to use combined arms tactics in the field to crush the Russians. The mud season is about to end so the counteroffensive will happen the next couple of months, assuming the Ukrainians have received all of their tanks and received training from Western military advisors.
Just like Operation Overlord. I don’t put much credibility in what is said by any of these corrupt bastards. America has zero interests in Ukraine and we are ignoring many of our own critical problems. I only expect humiliating defeat from our diaper wearing, dementia ridden CinC and woke generals. Following any of their advice is a prescription for failure.

Due to the Budapest Memorandum, we are obligated to send arms to Ukraine. That said, we should be encouraging Russia and Ukraine to sign a peace treaty and save lives. Seems like Xi Jinping is going to play that role. With Recep Tayyip Erdoğan helping, possibly.
