I love the outdoors and I can see why people enjoy jogging on hiking trails. I would bet 50 bucks she was wearing airpods or similar ear speakers. They are not good for the situational awareness. I also don’t understand the concept of jogging. All of the exercise of running can be done in a gym and earbuds don’t represent a survival disadvantage there. Plus jogging is hell on your feet and ankles and knees. Many a long time jogger has said that their knees were shot.
Still you can’t reckon for the evil people of the world and when they might show up to do you harm.
They are going through great lengths to protect the perpetrator’s identity.
Media has a history of ‘whitening’ perpetrators.
They need time to scrub his social media accounts.
