The leader of Russian paramilitary group Wagner threatened to withdraw his troops from the front line in Ukraine, citing growing losses, in a move that raises fresh tensions between Moscow’s military leaders ahead of an expected offensive by Kyiv’s forces.
Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said his forces would leave their positions in the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut on May 10 after delivering an expletive-riddled broadside against Moscow’s military leadership, which he accused of withholding ammunition.

Now that Prigozhin and his Musicians have chased the Zelenskites out of Bakhmut, it’s time for Putin to replace him with a new and improved criminal. One who charges less and makes less noise.
Sorry, Putin needs a new criminal in charge of the Wagoneers. Less noisy. Less expansive. One who is better able to lead his mental cases and jail birds into what remains of the Ukie army.
Wow, what little remains of the Ukie army is doing all this hurt to Wagner/Russia?
If one reads the pro-agression posters here, all is going swimmingly for Russia...
.
You're welcome, ReAnimator
I wonder if he thinks he needs Wagner as an intact force to protect his interests in a chaotic Moscow he foresees in the near future. Perhaps he sees a post-Putin political world where any major player lacking at least a minor army under their personal command will lose everything.
Could be. He may think “its over” and is doing some CYA.
I feel sorry for any Free Republic members who cannot see that some of those posters have horrible intent they are obviously doing this for some kind of propaganda mission.
I’m not talking about every person here who rails about the Ukraine war. But the worst of them will lie with a straight face no matter what the news is.
Those individuals are up to something and that’s why I call them out.
But you told us that the Ukrainian army was obliterated at bachmut. You said the Ukrainian losses were so great not the Russian side in fact you said all Ukrainian offensives are just the total destruction of the Ukrainian army.
But I have confronted you in the past that no matter how bad the news gets for Russia you will come on here with new lies because something is seriously wrong with you you are not a good person you are not an honest person and you have an agenda here which is completely false and meant to mislead good conservatives.
And you despise America and wish America to suffer great harm.
Luckily I’m not the only one here who has warned people about your type.
I agree. The psychology of people, or the warped state thereof is fascinating.
How it is that some people cannot admit being wrong about anything? These people have been spectaculary wrong many times yet they double down. Maybe its narcissim?
The pro-agression folks here are painting a rosier picture than even the Russian media.
I soon expect Prighozin and Girken to be called neocons before too long lol!
“citing growing losses”
Bakhmut “meat grinder” propaganda backfires.
It's spelled Bakhmut, you idiot.
“How it is that some people cannot admit being wrong about anything?”
Narcissists cannot admit they are wrong. The reason is that, despite the confident bluff they put out towards the world, they have extraordinarily fragile egos that they must always try to protect. If they feel they have been shamed or embarassed in front of others, it’s like a physical injury to them, and they will lash out irrationally.
“It’s spelled Bakhmut, you idiot.”
The “idiot” is probably the person who doesn’t realize there are no “accepted” spellings when transliterating from Cyrillic to the Latin alphabet. Hence “Zelinsky”/ “Zelinskyy”, “Kiev”/”Kyiv”, etc. Phonetic spellings are just as acceptable as any other until Slavs get together and agree on a system.
Documentation please.
“There are a number of distinct and competing standards for the romanization of Russian Cyrillic, with none of them having received much popularity, and, in reality, transliteration is often carried out without any consistent standards.”

Case in point. Cant admit that he is wrong about the UA army being obliterated in backmoot. No. Lets attack the spelling.
I never had a problem admitting I was wrong about something. It is humbling, but being humbled on occasion is good for you. Keeps the pride and ego in check.
