US became party to Ukraine conflict long ago, its goal is to destroy Russia-diplomat
TASS Russia ^ | 5/5/2023 | TASS

The narrative of US non-involvement in the recent drone attack on the Moscow Kremlin comes "only from people who are trying to create a smokescreen, to deceive their allies", Sergey Ryabkov said.

MOSCOW, May 5./TASS/. Washington has long became directly engaged in the Ukrainian conflict and its aim is to destroy the sovereignty of Russia, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Russia's Channel One on Thursday.

"The United States became a direct participant of this conflict long ago, and they have long been waging a hybrid war against my country. Ukraine is an instrument in their hands, a tip of the spear held by the US-led collective West," he said.

"Their goal is to destroy a sovereign, independent Russia as a factor in international politics," the Russian diplomat added. "They feel more and more tempted to play with the idea of dismembering Russia. <...> This is a direct attack against the foundations of our constitutional system."...

” that Russia is a threat to the rest of Eastern Europe.”

But Russia is a threat to eastern Europe which is why they are joining NATO. Obviously, we have another Putin loving troll working from his boiler room in Moscow.

This goes way beyond Putin. It’s an entire worldview being promoted by our evil leaders.

All you have to do is look at how our leaders talk about the religiosity and opposition to both mass immigration and LGBT crap, that is prevalent throughout Eastern European countries.

They frown and wag their fingers at it, and warn about the rise of neo fascism.....while sowing confusion by acting like the protectors of these same countries.

But go ahead and keep staring at trees real close, so that you don’t notice the forest. Our evil leaders are counting on 99 out of 100 Americans doing the same. It’s how they got away with the COVID tyranny.

That may be true, but it’s irrelevant. What matters is that the Ukrainian ruling class is in bed with the evil EU/US Deep State.

Right, who would want to join the EU and try to attain their high standard of living vs joining some Russian-BananaStan Economic Group where many people still do not have indoor plumbing.

So tell me which Eastern European countries joined the Russian trading Bloc vs the "evil" EU? None

I basically agree with you. But, removing Putin is now very doable and he is a very serious problem in addition to what you say and it would be a crime not to take care of take care of him now that the opportunity is here.

The Wolfowitz doctrine of “let’s weaken Russia” was drawn up right after fall of USSR, several years before Putin was in power. Why would we want to weaken a nation of people who were celebrating the defeat of Communism? And why didn’t we have a “weaken China” doctrine? Why does it seem like we’ve had a “strengthen China” policy, instead?

Because our Christianity hating leaders know that steadfast Christian faith helped to bring down Communism. And that pisses them off. And they certainly don’t want to see a resurgence of European Christendom.

So it’s in our evil leaders best interests to foment an adversarial relationship between Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe. The strategy is to divide them, and then 1) weaken Russia, 2) bully the rest of Eastern Europe to sign on to mass immigration and wokeism.

But if you think it’s all about toilets, then to each his own!

“””Because our Christianity hating leaders know that steadfast Christian faith helped to bring down Communism.”””

Outside of Russia, not inside of Russia, the Christians that escaped non-Christina Russia are now in NATO.

Remember Poland and Pope John II, and Lech Walesa?

When I said steadfast Christian faith, I meant the entire Iron Curtain..... With countries like Poland leading the way. That’s part of the point I’m making. Our leaders know that Christian faith helped to bring down the Iron Curtain as a whole, and they didn’t like that.

Obviously, there are advantages to Eastern European countries aligning themselves with the European Union and the US. But it’s the Western leaders that are forcing them to make that choice between Russia or EU/US.

The question is, why did we take an adversarial stance toward Russia immediately following the fall of the USSR? Russia wanted to join NATO, and we told them to pound sand.

You’re just not seeing the bigger picture.

There were long standing hostilities between Russia and Poland, and between other Eastern European countries. But the fall of the Iron Curtain and a resurgence of Christianity could have united them.

Our leaders didn’t want that, plain and simple. So they actively scratch at the scabs of those old wounds.

The only acceptable replacement for Putin, in the eyes of our leaders, would be someone who would sign on to wokeism.

Victor Orban isn’t starting any wars. But if someone with his commitment to preserving ethno/Christian traditions replaced Putin, they’d turn him into a villain quicker than you could say “orange man bad”.

The eastern countries that were Christian begged to be allowed into NATO after the non-Christian Russians became too weak to keep them enslaved.

Russia is not a Christian country or a Christian people, look at Ukraine versus Russia, or look at Poland and Hungary and the others versus Russia.

steadfast Christian faith helped to bring down Communism.

Yes, in Poland. Communism destroyed Christianity in Russia and it never recovered.

So it’s in our evil leaders best interests to foment an adversarial relationship between Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe

Do you think Poland wants to be free or under Russian control? Why is Finland desperate to join NATO? Its simple, Eastern European countries want to be free from Russian tyranny, and not because of some plot by "our evil leaders". Russia unfortunately has not grown out of its imperialistic phase and by invading Georgia and Ukraine, Russia has shown that they are a rogue nation.

But if you think it’s all about toilets, then to each his own!

Right, nobody in the world cares about their own quality of life. Including you, right?

I think Russia has been repeatedly provoked by US/EU. I don’t believe Russia wants to control Eastern Europe.

It’s our leaders that want an antagonistic relationship between Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe.

The motivation is to neutralize the resurgence of Christianity and ethno/nationalism in that part of the world, after Western Europe happily abandoned both of these things.

And while the Soviet leaders had a 30 year head start on suppressing religion in Russia, versus the rest of Eastern Europe, there has been a resurgence of Christianity in Russia since fall of Iron Curtain...... for starters, they aint calling it Leningrad and Stalingrad anymore.

So I don’t see it as an either/or choice between Eastern Europe aligning itself with either US/EU or Russia.

But if you can’t see any connection between how our leaders frown upon the religiosity of Eastern Europe, and our hypocritical stance towards China versus Russia, then I guess you’re allergic to pattern recognition.

I don’t believe Russia wants to control Eastern Europe.

Right, its why Russia invaded Georgia and currently occupies 20% of Georgia. That's why Russia invaded Ukraine and currently occupies 16% of Ukraine. Why did Putin in Dec 2021 demand NATO withdraw from much of eastern Europe, including Poland, the former Soviet countries of Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and the Balkan countries? Was he fearing a NATO attack spearheaded from Estonia? No, this was all about Russia regaining hegemony over major parts of the former Soviet Union. Remember, it was Russian President Vladimir Putin who said that the collapse of the Soviet empire “was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century”

resurgence of Christianity in Russia since fall of Iron Curtain...... for starters, they aint calling it Leningrad and Stalingrad anymore.

Biggest Russian myth sold to the west. In the US monthly church attendance is about 40%, in Russia it is 1%. Not surprising since the Russian Orthodox Church is almost a branch of the Russian government. Its leader Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, has told his followers that "sacrifice in the course of carrying out your military duty washes away all sins." Not exactly something from the bible.

But if you can’t see any connection between how our leaders frown upon the religiosity of Eastern Europe

Right, that's why Poland(Much more religious than Russia) is having such a hard time from "our leaders".

Putin’s been in power for over 20 years. He sure is taking his sweet time reestablishing the USSR.

The US has repeatedly broke its promise to not expand NATO “one inch further east” long before Putin decided to respond in kind.

Keep ignoring my main point about our leaders hatred of Eastern European Christian nationalism and the hypocrisy of their “weaken Russia”, “strengthen China” policy, which predates Putin becoming the leader of Russia.

Right, and the treaty that says that is...Another Russian myth.

The only treaty dealing with NATO expansion is the "Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany" which bans NATO just from the former territories of the GDR.

Russia according to you it has no imperial ambitions, so it is up to each individual nation whether to join or not join NATO, right?

So the Wolfowitz doctrine is a myth too?

How about the political pressure and propaganda campaign being waged by EU/US politicians and media against Eastern Europe’s resistance to Western wokeism? Along with these same people sounding the alarm bells over this “worrisome trend” now spreading to Western Europe? Is that also a myth?

I guess you didn’t see any of the stories in the news with titles like “Fascism returns to Italy” when Georgia Meloni was giving stump speeches that sounded like they could have been delivered by Victor Orban.

Oh wait.....Meloni doesn’t like Putin. So I guess that cancels out everything I’m saying. That makes sense, at least for people who suffer from tunnel vision.

Wolfowitz doctrine

Stop giving excuses for Russian expansionist invasions, there are none.

That makes sense, at least for people who suffer from tunnel vision.

Who is invading countries, violating international agreements they signed, in order to annex territories? Why is Finland desperately joining NATO? Fear of Christianity or Russian imperial ambition?

Invading neighboring countries to rebuild an empire is evil. Period.
