The premises of this article are nonsense.
First, Russia launched a war to conquer Ukraine. There was no war launched to “weaken Russia”.
What the author desperately wants is something to stop the Ukraine counter offensive.
And just possibly more Ukrainian gains will enhance the chance for peace talks.
But our Baghdad Bobs here will tel you Ukraine is winning.
They were working toward a negotiated settlement last April, six weeks after the SMO started, but the US & UK scuttled it. Hundreds of thousands of deaths later, the West is suddenly pretending it’s a good idea. Shame on all of these “leaders.” We’ve all suffered one way or another since Joke purposely did nothing to stop it from happening.
Are the Russians trying to take Odessa? Wasn’t Luhansk and Donetsk the part they wanted? I don’t remember them saying they claimed Odessa.
Too late. They have now labeled Kiev as terrorist and won’t negotiate they said and upping the ante on weapons used. Not going to be good.
At this point, I don’t have a clue what is going on in Russia and Ukraine.
My Grandfather was born in Kiev but considered himself Russian. It seems that a few areas of Ukraine still feel the same.
