Beyond dumb but this what happens when you have a corrupt one party rule of the State. I live in California and can’t begin to tell you the many ways they are hurting the people who live here. Have at least 5 friends who have moved out due to high taxes.

California has been the direction the rest of the nation follows. Our population is so stupid, I can see this getting traction.
Asian immigrants were subjected to discrimination in California. Japanese immigrants were interned in WWII thanks to FDR and Earl Warren. But probably the majority of Asians now living in California are from post-WWII immigration so their ancestors were not the victims.

First they transfer a relatively small amount from working individuals to those who smash, riot, loot and steal. The whining underclass then demands more, which the politicians gladly take from the productive ones. The end result is that the failures triple their hatred for the productive ones and demand even more.
It cannot end well. The lazy ones will never be satisfied, and at some point the productive ones will say “enough!”
Just think of the reparations they owe all the illegal aliens they deported when, according to today’s, turd rolling, Dung Beetle Party have a “constitutional right” to sneak into America and bash “the big piñata and drink all the gringo’s beer.
