Navy just doubled down on why they have a recruitment problem. I told my kids to not follow my brother and I into the military. It’s a social action experiment now that my brother and I saw start in the mid to late 80s.
Since I was USAF, I don’t know about other branches, but in the USAF, it started in the 70s. As far as I can remember, they first called it race relations. I think when I was in Germany, they called it human relations. Later it was called social actions. I have no idea what it is called now. This was one of the reasons I never encouraged my son to go in, but he wanted to fly.
