Dr. Hinton: We’re almost there, just a bit more tweaking.

Tech Mogul: You said that 10 years ago!
Dr Hinton: Give me a break, this stuff has a mind all its own!
I don’t think that many who began in ‘machine intelligence’ decades ago could see how exponentially it would progress.
Again, I appreciate anyone who stands for putting on the brakes for awhile, until we fully realize what we may actually be facing and can create safeguards against the dangers.
