Jason Miller to Newsmax: DeSantis 'Running Into a Buzz Saw' in 2024

Former President Donald Trump's longtime adviser Jason Miller told Newsmax on Thursday that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is "running into a buzz saw" if he challenges Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

Miller told "John Bachman Now" to "stay tuned" when asked if Trump might travel to Tallahassee, Florida, for a campaign stop while DeSantis is out of the country.

He added: "I'm not in a position to break any news right now, but ... there's a new Emerson poll out today showing President Trump with a 46-point lead nationally over Ron DeSantis. In New Hampshire ... President Trump is ahead by at least 20 points, according to the most recent polling."

Miller continued, "So you see the endorsements from within Florida; you see the national polling; you see the early state polling. I don't understand why Ron DeSantis still wants to charge ahead and run for president. It's running into a buzz saw, to say the least. And even the people who know him best ... aren't sticking with him."

Miller gave the interview while in Manchester, New Hampshire, where Trump is set to deliver a campaign speech on Thursday that Miller said "will really be focusing on the economy."

He said: "The economy is in bad shape. President Trump built the greatest economy ever. He's going to do it again.

"You're going to see a focus on the economy, but also President Trump will talk about the drug problem — not just in New Hampshire but also around the country. Opioids, fentanyl, this is a scourge ... that's really hurting people all around the country, and we need someone like President Trump to do something about it."

How much is Trump/Disney paying you to post these insipid attacks on a true conservative?

Just curious.

Buzz saw?

HAH!

Buzz saws don't cower from legitimate debates.

Trump needs to take a ‘buzz saw’ to the DC swamp.

Yep, he gave us a great economy and then he handed the nation over to Fear Fuhrer Fauci and blew it up along with our freedoms, children’s educations and our elections.

Okay, my good FRiend.

Peculiar "negotiating" style, however okay. Does this mean that we can look for forward to the GOP primary debates?

Alternate headline: "A Trump supporter supports Trump."

Not exactly groundbreaking stuff here. Lol. You people are just posting anything these days and DeSantis is still about 12 days from announcing. You're going to run out of Trump propaganda.

Yes, seems likely. But on Trump’s (reasonable) terms, whatever they end up being.

lol...

A desantis supporter finally acknowledging desantis has been lying about his intentions and is running for president...

So, why should anyone want desantis, when they can't believe anything he says?

Trump is playing 10^100 dimensional chess, trust the plan.

This whole losing in 2020 while backing the COVD-19 vaccine, banning bump stocks, and getting indicted was just a rouse intended to entrap and destroy the Deep State.

But ignorant DeSantis is about to ruin everything by getting into the Presidential race !

"desantis has been lying about his intentions"

Please provide the quote where he states he is not running for President. I don't doubt it exists, but the timing is important. Everybody who eventually runs for President initially denies they are running for President. But DeSantis running is inevitable.

I'm going to explain it again.

It's painfully clear to everyone but the 3 or 4 Ronlims on this site, that Ron DeSantis has NO chance in 2024. NONE. ZERO.

If Trump is f'd over by the RINOs who are in league with the Deep State, he can go 3rd party. Meatball Ron cannot, because he will want to try again in 2028.

Any party that has made the general election ballot can still swap out the candidate. You only have to beat mail-in ballot headlines, and there are no 'sore loser' laws preventing party-swapping in Federal elections.

Given mail-in ballots in a Presidential election year won't be printed anywhere in any state until the last major-party convention affirms their President and VP candidates, Trump could either quietly trojan horse an "American Party" 3rd-party all along, and swap out before, say, Easter, when the GOP primary winner will have been decided [Trump]; or he could simply take over the Libertarian or Alliance or Constitution nomination, having quietly ensured that they had full 50-state ballot representation beforehand.

In fact, he could even change the name of the American or Alliance or Constitution Party to the "MAGA Party", as long as he made the mail-in ballot printing deadline.

That's it, that is end game. Trump either wins the GOP primary or goes 3rd party. Either way, the Meatball goes back in the fridge until 2028. Schadenfreude.

Thanks for playing, though. You thought you had no shot with election fraud? You Ronlims had no shot at all, at least in 2024! Pick up your participation prize on the way out. You Ronlims and your camp follower old cat ladies are surely entertaining!

Numerically with the current set of conditions, this is correct. DeSantis has no chance.

His one hope, which no doubt he polishes nightly and prays to make good on, is that some Deep State tendril finally ensnares President Trump and effectively takes him out of the running. That is his only shot, and you know you is just waiting to play his Judas hand.
