Tucker Carlson’s exit from Fox News appears to be impacting more than just the timeslot that he hosted for years on the network.
Carlson’s finale a week ago drew 2.65 million viewers, according to Nielsen. The data shows that Brian Kilmeade’s substitute hosting gig for “Fox News Tonight” saw ratings of 2.59 million on Monday, 1.7 million on Tuesday, and 1.33 million on Wednesday, respectively. Last Wednesday, Carlson drew about 3 million viewers, Nielsen figures show.
But the 9 p.m. Fox News program hosted by Sean Hannity drew about 2.5 million on Monday, 2 million on Tuesday, and 1.7 million on Wednesday night, according to Nielsen. In comparison, Hannity drew about 2.6 million viewers the Wednesday a week before, the ratings show.

Sean Vanity is a deep state tool. When the fired the great Bob Grant at WABC they put the shit bag Vanity in his place and the rest is sad history.
I’ve read fox has lost nearly 1/2 its viewership? If so, GOOD!
Good analogy. I often say, if the old, old cartoon character Joe Palooka could have sired children, Sean Hannity would be that spawn.

Boycott Fox, sure, but what is the aim in suddenly trashing Hannity? Or Ingraham? Or others?
I’ve never been a huge fan of Fox’s lineup. I tune in semi-regularly, though, to Carlson and Bartiromo, who stand far above in terms of seriousness and rigor (and not just compared to the network’s other talking heads). In the wake of Carlson’s departure, I too find myself putting Fox at the end of my morning read, visiting near last and for a brief time only. But I have no antipathy toward the poor sops who are presently stuck headlining Fox. Why would I? Blame lies strictly with the Murdoch family and the corporate suits.
As long as I’m posting, it is inconceivable to me that either the Murdochs or their minions could imagine muzzling Carlson through the end of 2024 by keeping him under contract. This would be an act so stupid and suicidal that it just isn’t plausible.
They’ll free Carlson from his contract as soon as they can. They desperately want and need separation. It’s Carlson who will extract his pound of flesh over this, not the other way around.
Amen
He’s just preoccupied with Ainsley 😉
Sean’s brain was buried with Rush Limbaugh...”Just doing show prep for others”...
You are absolutely right! I have access to all three that you mentioned. In that respect, life is good. I do watch Gutfeld, but the rest of Fox News is dead to me.
They really shot themselves in the foot.
No Fox at all.
Ratings improved slightly by weeks end. My guess is that will continue as the anger wears off. If it continues, it shows how soft Laura, Sean & Gutfeld really are.
This happened after the 2020 election also WHY in the hell can’t people stay away from Fox there are other alternatives this is exactly WHY we never win our battles we NEVER stick to our principles!! I have not watched Fox since the 2020 election HOWEVER their ratings went right back up again come on people get the hell away from Fox!! Head on over to Newsmax!!!
I would tune in to Jesse Watters just in time to see that gay sign off he does. Lately, I’d watch Tucker for the first half hour unless there was an interesting guest or some breaking news type case he’s covering. But I was always gone before the hand-off to Hannity.
I think of Mark Levin when I see Hannity on TV... “Get off my TV, you big dope!”
1.7 million STILL watching Hannity (or any other show on FOX) is too much...
I quit watching gutfeld......it started to feel like the same ol shtick every night.
Not to mention he’s begun to add a lib to the show occasionally.
“I very rarely watch Hannity - I turned him off ages ago because his questions are 5 minutes long, not leaving the guest time to answer, and when they do, he constantly interrupts. He also talks about himself at every opportunity which drives me nuts.”
Yes, and his questions are run of the mill talking points. He has no insight. His counting off his talking points one at a time on his fingers did it for me a long time ago.
He stayed in New York. Paid Millionaire's Tax, supported Dem's with his faux "Fair and Balanced" B.S., while preaching "Lesser of two evils" is our best choice.
I will say that Hannity seems to have been fair to Pres. Trump, but let’s not forget that Hannity treated Ron Paul like crap, and that he was the biggest G W MORON cheerleader. And his stupid “tik tok” BS is shameful. He’s never had the guts to take on real issues like Obama’s lack of NBC status or vote fraud.
I can’t think of any TV media personality more insufferable than Sean Hannity.
And that includes former and current CNN talking heads…
Yes, but their ratings still handily beat the other alphabet networks (we shall see if that continues).
Fox is transitioning; they’re not going anywhere.
But watching them decline is certainly entertaining, as it hits them right in the pocketbook.
