Under a new bill that was passed by the Texas state Senate, citizens from countries that pose a threat to the United States would not be allowed to own certain types of lands.
The new bill, Senate Bill 147, would ban citizens from countries that have been named on the Director of National Intelligence’s National Threat Assessment for three years in a row, or more. The only nations that fall under that criteria would be China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. However, lawful permanent residents and dual citizens would be exempted. […]
However, the bill only bans certain areas from being available for purchase by citizens from the listed nations. The areas that the bill lists are agriculture, oil, timber, and mineral-bearing areas. The bill lists these areas as off limits due to the threat that foreign ownership would pose to the state and the country. […]
Members of the Houston Asian community opposed the bill and held rallies near the office of Senator Kolkhorst in protest. The protesters called the bill “racist and xenophobic.”

Shouldn’t allow any foreigners to buy up land.
Yep.
let them buy all the land they want.
Just everything the land produces
can only be sold in the USA. no export.
Or Bill gates of Hell.
Sometimes it acts like one to its own citizens.
Why?
Why?
Nobody really owns land, we just get to use it.
If you died tomorrow could you take it with you?
Why sell the land God gave you to the enemies of God (communists)??
Blackrock should be added to the list. Home grown wokester prik of a company.
maybe the rest of the world needs to do this towards US citizens as well, considering we are the most hostile nation militarily
Nobody owns land outright. Property taxes sees to that
It’s dead. Unconstitutional. Would be nice but a meaningless gesture by the Pols.
It’s no big deal. There is lots and lots of American land. They can’t carry it off.
American land is one of the best and safest investments in the world.
The problem is not land ownership but rather land usage. It is the usage that must be monitored and perhaps regulated
I am reminded of Japan in the 80’s. The Japanese had lots of cash that needed a safe place to be invested. They bought real estate. Guess what? It’s all still there.
“Nobody really owns land”
We own land that my ancestors bought 130 years ago. I think that qualifies for “ownership”. (Yes, we pay taxes)
One of those ancestors grave maker has this on it:

And his ancestors fought in the American Revolution.
HOW ABOUT NO OTHER NATIONALITY & ALL LAND....PERIOD???
They are the camel’s nose under the tent.
NO-—NOTHING
What about CCP owned companies in the USA?
Force foreign owners of land to sell.
While you are at it, no major capital purchases by foreigners.
No ownership of single family homes by corporations.
Force THEM to divest right now.
Keep the US for We the People.
Keep the American Dream alive.
