The blistering 94 is only for one day. I guess we’re getting a preview of what’s coming for real before too long. I can live without it. LOL!

Melting is really going well today. LOL!
I prefer to have tours back-to-back. Otherwise I get bored and have to resort to cleaning to pass the time. LOL! That’s ok. Cleaning needs to be done to keep the place nice for our visitors.
Thank goodness it won’t be scorching for more than a day. There’s plenty of that ahead.
Yeah, staying busy with customers is WAY better than staying busy with windex in one hand and a paper towel in the other! I’m sure y’all have every bit as much glass to clean as we did at the jewelry store I worked at.
Yep...plenty of heat to come. I can wait. And, I never forget that in some years, May is the worst.
Today, I had the broom and dust pan in hand. LOL There are BIG garage doors on the sides of the building and bugs get in through the cracks. I don’t think their little bodies are noticed by the others but they stand out like boulders to me. LOL A blade of grass that stuck to someone’s shoe and fell off stands out like tree trunk.
The glass was in good shape today so I grabbed the broom. There weren’t many bugs but there were none at the end of the day. :-)
Weird that May can be the hottest for you. July and August are our scorchers every year.
