An enormously wealth obese man can get all the dates he wants.
That would be an interesting study. Do obese people eat more over their expected lifespan, versus non-fat people.

The over weight life shortener has recently visited a family in our area.
Last month, a 60 year old female in this family died from a massive heart attack, she was about 50 pounds overweight.
A week ago her 40 something nephew had a massive coronary and a stroke. He is 50#+ overweight. He was told to lose weight if he wants to continue living.
His mother, a sister of the recently dead woman, is about 40-50 pounds overweight and is her early 60’s. Her son’s cardio doctor team told her to lose weight while she can.
What now? is fat going to become another letter on the LGBTQXYZ spectrum of privileged pathologies?

I would just insert “American” before “young girls”, considering what women outside the US (and Mexico) look like.
Not just young women. Here in CT easily 60% of all women are fat and another 25% are obese.
