Biden’s 30-hour workweek: How president’s age has cut down schedule

Even White House staffers admit that President Biden’s advanced age is affecting his workload.

Days after the 80-year-old formally announced he would run for re-election in 2024, Axios reported Friday that aides say it’s tough to schedule “public or private events” with Biden at certain times of day — namely weekends, mornings, and evenings.

In fact, the report adds, most of Biden’s public events happen between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

That works out to a 30-hour workweek — even less than the official 35-hour workweek in France.

So far this year, Biden has held just four events before 10 in the morning, 12 events after 6 p.m. — mainly state dinners, receptions, and Democratic fundraisers — and has spent a dozen more weekends without any public events.

No matter how much sleep or medication they’re giving him Biden’s over all mental cognition is declining.

I lost my mother to Alzheimer’s and I’ve worked in nursing homes. The decline is inevitable.

Medication can stave off the effects of dementia but only for a certain period of time.

Biden doesn’t do a damn thing unless he’s told to and eventually he won’t even be able to do that.

So it’s probably more accurate to say that Biden has a 30-hour work month.

Combine that with a stupid & lazy *Harris, we’re looking at a serious leadership deficit.

We’re a Great Power Nation and it’s sad that we have careless voters who want people like Justine Trudeau, Jacinda Ardern, Sanna Marin “types” in positions of power.

“These are cute stories that won’t ‘cut it’ as we move into tough time.”

*Harris is the type of “leader” who when asked to do a task says: “You aren’t pinning that crap on me.”

That is how Harris thinks....if she has to do work....somebody is trying to get her,blame her, or scapegoat her.

Does anyone really believe the fairy tale PR fiction of the various politicians?

The majority of the American people are either abysmally stupid or consummately evil. IMHO.

When Bonanza was first run more than one woman would come up to Dan Blocker and what his costars were really like at home.
He’d politely say they all got along on the show but he didn’t know a lot about their lives.
The woman then said “No, you don’t understand. I mean after the filming is done for the day and you have supper together at home and stuff, what are they like?”

USA Today and NY Times on American Enterprise survey of 17 year olds on history....2008.
Among 1,200 students surveyed:

•43% knew the Civil War was fought between 1850 and 1900.

•52% could identify the theme of 1984.

•51% knew that the controversy surrounding Sen. Joseph McCarthy focused on communism.

In all, students earned a C in history and an F in literature, though the survey suggests students do well on topics schools cover. For instance, 88% knew the bombing of Pearl Harbor led the USA into World War II, and 97% could identify Martin Luther King Jr. as author of the “I Have a Dream” speech.

Fewer (77%) knew Uncle Tom’s Cabin helped end slavery a century earlier.

17 year olds in 2008 would be 32 year old voters today.

I don't want POTUS or any other politician to "work".

People want politicians to be active, cranking out and signing laws and orders.

Not me.

Everything they "do" just screws the country up more.

I just wish all the politicians would go to Washington and sit in rooms and play video games and drink beer.

Have some committee just rescind laws and undo the incredible wasteful and reckless spending over the past 80 years. Have the POTUS sign the bills.

Just undo all the garbage and end all the programs.

Preserve defense. Let the good people live their lives.
