[the laundry detergent IS the currency.]

I get it but I’m saying it will run out - because it’s a consumable

And all of that will come to an end

True. But think of how the drug dealers are using it. They are able to keep it going because there are plenty of people out there who are buying and selling the laundry detergent through "legitimate" means. So there will always be a replenishment of the underlying supply.

Imagine if you are a contractor and someone wants you to build a new deck for them. Instead of quoting them a price in U.S. dollars like you would today, you simply tell them that you'll take a pallet of Tylenol or liquor in exchange. How they get the Tylenol or the liquor isn't your problem. They'll figure it out if they want the deck badly enough.

And you aren't going to use all the Tylenol or drink all the liquor ... you're going to sell it in smaller lots to someone who has something you need -- like tools, an oil change, or even an EBT card that will get you groceries at the local store.

BUT-—You cannot run your washing machine because you cannot pay your power bill.
