Microsoft has bought 274 acres near where I live.
This is rural-—Small village has a ‘Municipal” system-—but most are on WELLS.
The Cloud Server Farm they want to build CONSUMES-—USES—450,000 gallons of water a day...NOT recycled-—turned into steam.
I am allowed 2 acre feet of water a year on this parcel-—same everywhere in county—for ‘Domestic use & drip systems & livestock.
That amounts to 1785 or so gallons per day—which isn’t alot with livestock.
This ‘server farm’ will use as much PER DAY as 252 parcel owners in this valley.
The more they push for digital money-—the more ‘server farms’ needed & the more WATER THEY WILL CONSUME....
Overheated servers STOP WORKING——AND THE DIGITAL MONEY IS FROZEN
SOOO—WILL water rationing also occur???
