Joey had no choice. For Joey this is a replay of 2020. In 2020 he ran so he could buy time to figure out what to do about the laptop. He knew what was in it and knew even the corrupt FBI could not keep it hidden forever. So he runs for president. That gave him the same line as Spartacus and Avenatti to protect them from criminal prosecution, “You’re just coming after me because you know I’ll beat Trump like a drum.”
Then the rodents decide to steal the presidency with Joey. They knew that even when he had a somewhat functioning brain he was a criminal at heart.
They thought they had enough corruption lined up then came 10PM and the realized Trump was stronger than they could have imagined. The rest is history.
This time Joey HAS to run on the chance they can steal it again but he will pardon himself and the whole Biden Crime Family on the way out if they can’t steal it again.

The stealing will continue. If anyone thinks we will ever have legitimate elections again, they are sadly mistaken. Dems get what they want. There will never be another conservative President. Those days are over. Sorry to be a pessimist, though I consider myself a realist more, which is why the pessimism is showing.
I don’t think the laptop really scared him. Republican Barr and the FBI sat on it for over a year during the Trump administration. Until the repairman said something, then they moved to “under investigation so we cannot comment”. Not a chance in hell it would be prosecuted.
And in the bizarre chance it was, a DC or east coast jury would never convict and the judge would ensure that outcome.
