BERLIN — German climate activists tried bringing traffic to a standstill in Berlin on Monday morning by gluing themselves to streets all over the capital.
Members of the group Last Generation have repeatedly blocked roads across Germany in the past year in an effort to pressure the government to take more drastic action against climate change.
On several occasions, they have glued themselves to the roads, enraging some motorists and prompting accusations of extremism from conservative politicians.
In addition to the road blocks, the activists said Monday they would also block traffic by marching very slowly through the city later in the day.
In the morning, there were about 20 road blocks across the city, German news agency DPA reported.

I was stopped on the thruway once by these morons.
I missed my flight at the airport, I had to pay a late fee for my car rental, I had to book an expensive hotel near the airport, i had to pay a flight cancellation and rebooking fee, and I could not get the first flight out the next day because everybody was trying to rebook... so I missed work the next day.
All in all it cast me over $1000. If I could get my hands on one of them I would personally sue them for the costs.
Bicycle riding is essential for Berliners. Even grown men.
They have been indoctrinated. Their religion is climate change. And now they are grabbing the levers of power.
This isn’t going to end well.
I expect this to get worse. We have a generation of brain washed people who really believe we are on the brink of a climate ruined dystopian world. All built on lies to give unlimited power and control to the evil bastards who pushed it.
The permanent solution is to keep the cops away and let the motorists deal with them as they see fit.
So clearly, their “protest” did not endear you to their cause, and make you rethink your views?
I always wonder about these idiots. There is a time and place for everything. If they want to exercise “freedom of speech” and have their events and rallies and such, go for it. But it crosses lines when they interfere with the rest of us going about our business.
And I can’t believe too many who get stuck in their “protests” will rethink their views and come to agree with these people. I wouldn’t be surprised if some people getting stuck in traffic even know what these idiots are protesting about.
We need more of the gif with two cop cars. Wouldn’t take long.
