It is Juan Williams JOB, what he gets paid for, to PORTRAY the stereotypical "Dumber than $HIT" LIBERAL. He is not much different than a "character actor" who ALWAYS portrays the "evil villain" or some other stereotypical character.

He's paid to be there everyday and do just that.

He's there specifically to KEEP THOSE WATCHING who represent the opposing POV.
