TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. — Georgia lawmakers say they were overwhelmed Saturday by multiple car crashes and a shooting on Highway 80 as thousands made their way to Orange Crush on Tybee Island.
Orange Crush, the unofficial beach bash for HBCU students, returned to Tybee Island this weekend, bringing many visitors.
City officials told WJCL that the event was unpermitted, however, they prepared law enforcement, firefighters, and more to keep everyone safe.
While authorities prepared for the beach’s chaos, the road to the party was a different story.

Yes, and Senator Byrd (WV-deceased) of Kleagle fame— had a very good name for them, and used it in clear on CBS or some such major media. These are white...n’....s, and thus whi-***rs. There are a lot of a@@clowns in jacked up (forward struts raised- illegal in many states, btw) pickup trucks blasting out rap... black rap. Confused and stupid usually drug runners. Oh- and they wear their baseball caps backwards.

I thought Tybee island was small, exclusive, & expensive. It seems like a strange place to hold a giant party.
What I await to see is a Christian revival spring break or HBCU gathering!!!

Mine didn’t allow me to go with friends which was good as several friends I liked in class but they participated in drugs during the weekends.
I worked after school most days so that is what I did full time during spring break!
NOW, confession....I wasn’t that good during my years when I moved from their home...!!! God is merciful!!

It’s looking like CA, everyone on the beach looks like a parolee. It was so bad in CA, the last 15 years I was there I never once went back to the beach.
