“Nope. Just think this is a dumb fight. Thought it when DeSantis first picked it.”

Which fight are you referring to?

He sure does, he’s never going to learn. Making enemies
out of people whose help he will need is how he burns
bridges...He seems to think that politics is like being
the boss at his business.

—> Do any of you agree with these comments, that Florida somehow is a terrible state, and has difficulties because of DeSantis being governor?

Insurance rates and laws have become an issue

Florida man, emboldened by desantis is ravaging the state.

It was a stupid and destructive thing to say. Just great trash one of the few solid red states with enough EC votes to make a difference. For an encore he should dump on Texas

—> Trump doesn’t need to tear down Florida to win the GOP nomination.

Desantis has one major strength - his record in FL.

Trump is attacking it.

Smart strategery

Trump could run for governor but he has a higher calling.

Try to buy himeowners insurance in Florida. There are more ilegals here than Americans. And just try to put plates on a new car, it’ll cost more then the car.

The article doesn’t specify where the complainers live. Florida’s a big state and has a wide range of real estate prices and weather conditions.

Like any other state, if you want to live along the coast or in a big city, homes will be expensive, as they always have been. Trump lives in a very expensive area. If you want to live out in the boondocks, it’s a lot cheaper and you can have more land.

If you prefer more seasonal weather, live in the northern part. If you like fewer seasonal changes, live in the southern part. A/C is a good idea anywhere in Florida, as it surely must be for any other southern state with warm weather and humidity.

Trump must’ve liked Florida before. He apparently has several properties he can move to, if he no longer likes his current main residence. He might want to be careful about which bridge he’s going to burn for a nomination.

Trump should stop all these childish actions and name calling.

Yes. Trump, who is the most successful president we've ever had despite being attacked from every angle should take advice from you.

Sounds like the Desanctimonius pac does all of Ron’s talking. Is it one of those hand up the butt deals?

“The Miami real-estate agent Michael Bordenaro told Insider in 2021 that 40% to 50% of his clients who are new to the state move out within a few years.”

In North Carolina they call 'em "halfbacks". Retired from New York to Florida, couldn't stand the heat, the humidity, the crowding, the bugs, the snakes, the illegals, the hurricanes, the alligators, and moved halfway back.

Politics aside, I can't stand Florida, either. The heat, the humidity, the bugs, the snakes, the illegals, the hurricanes, the crowding, the alligators, and worst of all the arrogant New Yorkers.

Trump is not dumb and acting like he is will always get you on the wrong side. He’s speaking directly to the issues that are top of mind to Floridians which is why he mentions being a teacher (goes to compensation) police officer is the same. He’s talking on to local issues and he’s saying it nationally. To me, he’s weakening Desanctimonius locally so he can pull more endorsements from the state (make it toxic to support Desanctimonius). Nationally that doesn’t play well and could help to dry up donors.
