President Donald Trump hosted a slate of America First representatives from the great state of Florida on Thursday evening at his home, Mar-a-Lago, in West Palm Beach.
As reported by RSBN, this week, Florida Rep. Michael Waltz (R) became the 11th member of the Florida Republican Delegation to endorse Trump in his 2024 bid for the presidency, joining powerhouse Florida Republican representatives like Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills, and Byron Donalds.
Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla., shared photos of the dinner at Mar-a-Lago, commenting on Twitter, “Thank you President Trump for hosting us last night at Mar-a-Lago with Florida’s America First delegation! Honored to be on Team Trump!”
Rep. Donalds also added, “America needs President Trump BACK in the White House, and my friends in the Florida delegation are committed to ensuring that happens.”
Alex Bruesewitz, CEO of X Strategies and staunch Trump ally, shared a photo of the event on Twitter with the following caption: “President @realDonaldTrump has assembled a team of the smartest and most respected Florida congress members to help with 2024. Team DeSantis has assembled a team of third rate, Florida based non-influential influencers with various issues including alleged fraud & alcohol abuse!”
Rep. Mills added his own photos of the evening to Twitter on Friday, writing, “Great dinner last night at Mar a Lago with President Trump and members of the Florida delegation. Honored to be a part of this great team.”
RSBN revealed this week that President Trump has been accruing endorsements from prominent Republican lawmakers and conservatives at a rapid-fire pace since announcing his reelection bid in 2024.
Per Florida’s Voice, Trump stated on Thursday, “Our support is almost universal in Florida and throughout the USA. They remember fondly all of the incredible things I did while in office, one of the most successful Administrations in History.”
The overwhelming landslide of support for President Trump in the Sunshine State is not a positive development for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) if he plans to declare a 2024 presidential bid.
The people who know desantis best like trump most… so there’s that.
No, if you read the comments from Roger Stone, they’re cowards. Trump threatened them with primary opponents if they didn’t endorse him early.
After Trump serves another 4 years, he needs to start the “America First Party”.
I would donate to that cause.
OK thanks... So those who know desantis best are unconvinced he has enough influence - in FL! - to keep them in office if Trump runs someone against them.
I’m not clear on what’s going on right now. I cannot figure out the game being played by either side. I’m thoroughly confused.
I love my governor in FLorida, but I will be voting for Trump in primary.
Never happen. Trump is smart enough to know 3rd parties are no-win.
Where can I find Rogers comments?
How many of those suooorters are RINOs? They are just covering their own butts because they think Trump will win and don’t want to be crushed by him.
Congress has an approval rate in the teens.
And now we are supposed to celebrate their endorsements?
So, are we supposed to trust these fools? Or do we still think they are part of the corrupt “Washington Machine?”
Why not start it now? Because he needs Republican money. And he won’t spend a dime of his own.
