Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is talking up his own ability to land a winning argument and even take down Donald Trump in the race for the White House.
Christie, who earlier this week leveled a 'porn star' attack on Trump while arguing Ron DeSantis wasn't conservative enough, made the comments on a trip to New Hampshire, a state central to his failed 2016 presidential campaign.
Christie, known as a political brawler, got asked whether other members of the Republican field were not 'physical enough' or lacked the 'aggressiveness' to take Trump down, on a day when he led the field in another new poll.
'Look, I know what I'm good at. I know how to articulate an argument. I know how to make it. I know how to land it. And I feel like I have the ideas that people are generally attracted to. So if you have those things, you have a good chance to be able to do it. No guarantees, but a good chance,' he told Fox News.

'That's the last piece ... lots of people can do things when the lights aren't the brightest. But when those lights get really bright and everybody's watching, can you perform or can't you? And that's a lot about what these races have to do with.'

Politico reported that Christie spoke to about three dozen former staff advisors, who could form a network if he jumps in the race.
'If we go forward, we want all of you to be with us,' he told the group. 'Thank you to all of you for everything you've already done for us. It's been really, really an amazing ride. And you know what? It might not just be over yet.'

If Trump got 80 million votes, the popping fresh dough boy would be lucky to get 30 million.
If the election came down to chubby and the worst demoncrap on the planet, I would still write in Trump or DeSantis.
