Most of you are probably not familiar with the name “Vivek Ramaswamy.” He is currently the least-well known Republican presidential primary candidate. But that will undoubtedly change after the first GOP presidential primary debate in August.
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a total Trump supporter: I’m all in for Trump in 2024. In fact, I believe Trump is the ONLY presidential candidate across all political parties who can restore this country to its position of worldwide prominence and leadership we enjoyed during his first term. But, after listening to Mr. Ramaswamy — the son of immigrants from India — I believe I’ve found the true “future Trump.” Like Trump, he’s a successful, worldwide businessman with an acute awareness of social, economic and foreign policy matters. He is brilliant, articulate and knowledgeable about public- and private-sector issues, both foreign and domestic. He offers a sincere, spontaneous delivery that will enable him to shine at the August debates. And he will undoubtedly be a valuable asset in the next Trump administration. I urge you to learn more about this amazing individual in his quest for high political office.
In my opinion — and in the view of many - our country and Constitution is currently under siege by those advocating Communist ideologies antithetical to the American way of life: culturally, spiritually, economically and educationally. During his first term, Trump exposed and brought to prominence the threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In fact, historians may well view this feat as one of the most important accomplishments of Trump’s presidency. Over the past thirty years, the CCP has infiltrated this country’s institutions — such as the recent Justice Department arrest of two Chinese nationals accused of running a police operation in New York to silence dissidents — abetted by foreign and domestic actors who hate this country, as well as politicians who are either too greedy or too weak to stand up to this pernicious, existential threat to our way of life.
Only Trump’s America First paradigm can counter this anti-American trend and restore the values and prosperity that has made the United States the greatest country in world history. Many advocates of Trump’s America First manifesto have names like Patel, Ramaswamy, Luna, Reyes, etc. I think it’s ironic and amusing that these first- and second-generation legal immigrants may well be the most likely saviors of our nation. These immigrants have the most profound understanding of and appreciation for the freedoms this country has to offer. By their own accounts, many of these immigrants left their home countries like Cuba, Venezuela, Eastern Europe, etc. to escape the economic carnage and loss of individual liberties imposed under Socialist regimes.
By contrast, it seems our younger generations have little respect for the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms this document bestows. They believe climate change is a more existential threat than the CCP; that instant gratification is a more important value than hard work and freedom; that the government should run our lives and bestow our rights instead of Almighty God; and that the Constitution is an inconvenient document whose amendments can be shredded when conditions suit.
Like many of my conservative ideologues, I believe that Generations X, Y and Z are preoccupied with important issues like abortion rights, gun control and concerns about climate change to the detrimental minimization or utter disregard for such issues as voter integrity, inflation, flagrant governmental over-spending, Biden’s border policies, the threat of China’s impending world dominance and our acknowledged loss of world-wide prestige starting with the administration’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. Perhaps it’s time to raise the voting age to 35! Otherwise, I suggest our younger folks start learning how to speak Mandarin.
Love him.
I foresee a debate about the NATURAL BORN CITIZEN clause in the constitution on this thread.
In before someone makes it an issue.
He was born in Cincinnati.
That ship sailed in o8
To whom?
Matters not. He was born on American soil
Yup-—I need to research him more but he’s looking very interesting thus far.
From what I’ve heard and read from him he seems like a good, rational sort.
From what I’ve seen he’s a good future for the “America First Party”.
I vote pro life. A pro-choice candidate could get my vote if he or she is better than the alternative, and it is imperative not to abstain. But no money and no other support.
I am listening to Ramaswamy, but if he is not prolife, that is the extent of it.
He was born in Cincinnati.
But, were his parents?
here we go... LOL
He sounds great, but I’m a bit leery because of a lack of true political experience (ie, no voting record, no track record of standing up to opposition, no political achievements).
Someone like that may be a Trojan horse. Not saying he would be. Running him for President out of virtually nowhere may be a big political risk for the good guys. Let him run for a Congressional seat first. Then we’ll see.
Ivy League educated attorney/pagan.
Not natural born citizen.
Got to pass
I think voting for him would only encourage more Indians into coming here. So no thanks
Harvard/Yale
Talks well.
Never held any office, including dog catcher
Talk is easy.
What was Trump,s voting record? Did Trump serve in Congress? Or any elected office?
I’m skeptical as well.
VP

Seems unambiguous to me.
