Fox News has ended its relationship with Dan Bongino, who hosted the Saturday night show Unfiltered with Dan Bongino. Bongino’s Canceled in the USA streamed on Fox’s streaming service, Fox Nation, will end as well. In a statement, Fox News said, “We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors.” The last episode of Bongino’s Saturday night program aired on April 15th.
Bongino addressed the decision on his podcast The Dan Bongino Show, saying “it’s tough,” but said “we couldn’t come to terms on an extension” of his arrangement with the network. “It’s a sad day.” Bongino said he was given the chance to do one final episode of the show, but he decided not to. “The most important events in my life I learned about on Fox News,” Bongino said, as he reflected on his long ties to the network.

As Rush used to say: "Symbolism over substance." I stopped watching Fox News in 2008 when Obama got elected. I watch no news programming on any platform.
Pretty much dittos for me. Seems like a solid guy, but I’ve just never been drawn to his work. Not sure why not.
That’s why Rush Limbaugh was so universally loved and lasted so long especially when he rarely had guests, just him talking for 3 hours
Maria has been excellent all through RussiaGate. Even if I watched Fox regulatory, which I don’t, I would have to wonder what is up with a network that is always firing/laying/off/having talent quit like nowhere else I’ve ever seen. It tells me that the powers that be have problems, not so much the on-air talent. Bottom-Line—Fox is poorly run. Murdochs are all nuts.
Did Bongino ever say anything bad about Dominion?
I’m thinking this is all a plan to get rid of any Trump supporters of which Bongino & Bartoromo are as was Lou Dobbs.
Vinyl is making a big comeback. The younger kids love it and some older ones too : )
The truth can be very nerve wracking for some.
Bummer.
The have to come up with $750 million somehow.
I prefer RAV to both Newsmax and OAN.
Stinchfield’s show on RAV is doing very well.
“They are obnoxious Yankees. Rude, in your face.”
You mean like the Yankees who founded this country?
Rush was conservative, with wit and humor. I miss him every single day when I’m driving home at noon. BUT was he super pro-active about making changes? There was that Dan’s Bake Sale, and Operation Chaos with Hillary, but mostly he provided great info and commentary. Again, he was the best of all, overall.
Bongino is “in your face”, and I appreciate that he’s not a milquetoast. Nice guys finish last, and that’s the truth.
FOX’s loss.
Ever since Faux Snooze fired Roger Ailes and moved decidedly leftward, many Fox Snooze conservatives have showed up at Newsmax. Maybe he’ll land there.
“I would have to wonder what is up with a network that is always firing/laying/off/having talent quit like nowhere else I’ve ever seen.”
Here’s a theory. There are two major liberal cable news networks (CNN and MSNBC). There is one moderate to conservative network (Fox). There appears to be an alliance between the two liberal networks and the DNC plus the entrenched federal bureaucracy, particularly the intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
Fox has the largest viewer audience (larger than CNN + MSNBC in many time slots). Given the low viewership of MSNBC and CNN, the liberal Murchochs might prefer to shift the network positioning to the left, but there aren’t enough viewers to support 3 networks on the left. Therefore the Murchochs, much like the moderate globalist Republican party establishment, is stuck with a conservative audience they don’t like, and perhaps even hate.
In a truly free market, the biggest network from a viewership perspective would enjoy the highest advertising rates and the best advertisers. Yet strangely, that isn’t’ the case with Fox. While MSNBC and CNN fill their commercial time with ads from Big Pharma, Big Defense Contractors, the auto companies, and the premier consumer products companies, Fox’s ad time is filled with the pillow guy, old celebrities pitching medicare insurance schemes, and other lower tier advertisers. Why? Could it be the premier companies have been told by power Democrat politicians, and powerful regulators inside the bureaucracy, not to spend ad dollars on Fox? Could it there is an implicit understanding between the Murdochs and the left that the “conservative” network can exist but if personalities on the network are considered to causing damage, the Murdochs will pull them off the air?
The days of Rupert Murdoch giving Roger Ailes a free reign in running the network are over. Rupert has turned management of the network over to his children. The turnover in talent, and frequent adjustment of message, suggest either the Murdoch kids don’t have a clear strategy for the business or they are responding to pressure from outside forces.
If they want to cut someone, cut Jesse Watters.
His shows are largely a waste of time - patronizing and annoying. Hate his use of old-time television show and popular movie cuts - boring, and his "cute" names for political figures aren't creative they're insipid and cringy. Much of each show is just patronizing slop.
I gave him a chance initially. Was shocked at how uninteresting and boring the average show is - not much to watch, not clear how he got & retained his own show. Guess he has "friends" in high places for some odd reason to keep his spot... Yes, he bashes Biden & Dems - but so do the other FNC hosts - and they inject a lot more actual news & political content every evening...............
I agree.
Incredibly, Watters had rock solid ratings after the first six months of his show.
I have not checked his ratings recently.
I like Bongino, too, but Bongino does not really add anything new to the standard Conservative narrative.
Looks like the $800 million hit Fox took against Dominion voting machines is going to leave some bad scars.
I cannot believe Fox did not fight that settlement to the last dollar.
Every hustler attorney in the USA will be attacking Fox now for EVERYTHING.
It’s almost like you can’t broadcast BS anymore.
What’s the world coming to?
Time to wake up, Fuzz.
The new rules only apply to Conservatives.
The USA judiciary and legal system is politically corrupt - from top to toe.
Yes. Liberals are never fired.
I find him impossible to listen to. My radio has been stuck on Rush for a quarter century, so now it's stuck OFF. Bongino yells continuously and endlessly beats just one or two topics to death, and nothing else. Silence is far superior.
