An IRS supervisor has told lawmakers he has information that suggests the Biden administration is improperly handling the criminal investigation into President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and is seeking whistleblower protections, according to people familiar with the matter.
A letter sent to Congress on Tuesday says a career Internal Revenue Service criminal supervisory special agent has information that would contradict sworn testimony by a “senior political appointee.” The supervisor also has information about a “failure to mitigate clear conflicts of interest in the ultimate disposition of the case,” according to the letter.
The supervisor has details that show “preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected,” according to the letter.
The letter says the supervisor has been overseeing an “ongoing and sensitive investigation of a high-profile, controversial subject since early 2020,” which it doesn’t name. The investigation at issue is into the younger Mr. Biden, the people familiar with the matter said.
A spokesman for the White House deferred to the Justice Department or the IRS for comment. Spokeswomen for the Justice Department and for the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware, which is leading the investigation, declined to comment. A spokesman for the IRS and a spokeswoman for Hunter Biden didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
Hunter Biden is facing a criminal investigation related to his taxes and whether he made a false statement in connection with a gun purchase. When he said in December 2020 that his tax matters were under investigation, Hunter Biden said he was “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately.”

Let’s see if the media praises this whistleblower like they did with the “whistleblowers” of the Trump era.
The real question is whether Biden is interfering intentionally or just demonstrating his natural incompetence. It’s hard to tell.
Praise the “whistleblower”?
They will bury the story, not discuss it, attack the whistleblower, and pretend none of it happened. If the DOJ get involved, they will whitewash it all away.
The Government will protect the Government. Because it’s a Government of the Government, by the Government, and for the Government. That Government isn’t giving power back to the people or their servants.
Much in the same way the tranny shooter's manifesto is being "mishandled", or the release of all Jan 6 video footage to the public is being "mishandled".

The IRS has been above reproach since Lois Lerner was promoted . . .
Every since Lois Lerner, we have evidence that the IRS has been corruptly co-opted for political use. Thus, we know that this whistleblower who has evidence really does have the goods and the IRS did not follow procedures. If they can find the final piece during the investigation, some evidence of WH influence, this not only prevents Biden from running, it’s certainly impeachable.

Wow, this is really really new information. The House committees will jump on it and the executive branch DOJ, FBI, and Treasury officials will simply stonewall and dare the House to do anything about it.
