The Arizona House voted 46-13 to expel State Rep. Liz Harris (R-Chandler) on Wednesday after conducting an investigation into her bringing a witness to testify to the Senate Elections Committee, who accused legislators and other public officials of committing crimes. Jacqueline Breger told the committee that Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs, State House Speaker Ben Toma (R-Peoria) and others executed fraudulent deeds as part of a bribery scheme involving the Sinaloa drug cartel, along with other accusations.
Various legislators say that Harris was not truthful when she said she did not know what Breger was going to say. But Harris told The Arizona Sun Times it wasn’t that she didn’t know about the criminal accusations – she had instructed Breger only to address election integrity.
After the explosive testimony in February, State Rep. Stephanie Stahl Hamilton (D-Tucson) submitted a complaint about Harris on March 6 to the House Ethics Committee, which is chaired by State Rep. Joseph Chaplik (R-Scottsdale). Hamilton alleged that Harris violated House Rule 1, which prohibits impugning other members. Chaplik led an investigation, held an evidentiary hearing, and issued a report from the five-member committee unanimously finding that Harris had violated the rule and committed “disorderly behavior.”

So much for being a deliberative body. God forbid they listen to what the person has to say and except or reject it.
Son moved from Phoenix to Halifax four years ago, so he could live in an area that wasn’t as leftist. It may sound like a joke, but it isn’t.

RepubliCAN’TS
Yeah. They really are on to something.
How extensive? Probably a lot larger then anyone can imagine.
And if it wasn’t really a big deal, why take the almost unheard of step of expelling a legitimately elected representative? They could have just laughed it off as crackpottery.
That they didn’t raises even more flags.
Arizona has been Californicated. As they usually do, the Californians escaped oppressive government, then installed it in their new home. They’re completely hopeless.
“Do you have evidence that that it was not true?”
Breger and Harris are both nutcase liars. Do you have evidence that they’re not?
You are just NOW starting to hate republicans, I have been watching this Republican BS for 50 years YET WE ALL keep voting the bastards right back into office, HELL we couldn’t even manage to rid ourselves of Ronna McDaniel AFTER her losing 2 major election cycles WITH the country in a free fall!! The MAGA republicans have NO CHANCE of winning any longer THE FIX IS IN our elections are NO LONGER free and fair they are corrupt as hell!!!!
The cartels are worth many billions and have lots of influence. And for 50 years the Republicans and Democrats never had any intention of securing our borders. Lip service and lies is all we got. Why?
How much money do you think cartels have spent to ensure the border remains wide open?
I am very concerned about those charged not having to lift a finger to rebut the claims. Are the claims true? If they are not true, those implicated should categorically deny the claims.
Was there any denial?
I saw Breger’s testimony.
Did they investigate and determine that all the information that she gave was...FALSE???
She did NOT seem like a “nutcase” to me. She had documents
that named some really corrupt activity.
So then, I guess, some dependable, responsibility person or persons investigated and found ALL OF THAT TO BE FALSE.
I guess that report was published without my seeing it.
Breger looked pretty good to me.
I am as perplexed as you are.
Those charges were given in a quiet, professional way and they appeared to me to be positively DAMNING.
I haven’t heard or read anything since Breger gave her testimony.
DID I, ALONG WITH OTHERS, MISS THE BULLETIN THAT SAID IT WAS ALL UNTRUE?
Sum Ting Wong...here.
Thanks. I have an annoying habit of understating my feelings. You summed it it pretty well.
She should have whipped out a bull horn.
You’ve said some dumb stuff on here, but this might take the cake!
Good to see you’re still around, and uppin’ yo’ game even!
Here is what appears to be an early news article which seems to outline the defense against the Breger allegations:
Basically, it says that (1) no court charges (eg bribery) have been filed concerning the allegations; (2) Harris disobeyed rules by impugning the reputation of other legislators with “unfounded” allegations of bribery; (3) other members of the committee were supposed to have received advance notice of the remarks, but did not, in violation of committee rules; and (4) other legislators are backing away from supporting Harris, and Harris is in danger of losing her membership in a committee.
Apparently so far no one in the court system has been able to bring charges against any of the legislators involved. This allows the defense in public that the charges are “conspiracy theories.”
According to the web, Jacqueline Breger remains employed as an insurance agent in Scottsdale.
I suppose that a legislative committee was the only place outside of the courts and investigative journalism that her charges could be made public without legal repercussions.
Apparently Harris took a risk, took one for the team, and lost her seat in the legislature as a result (?).
I hope to not be covering, material already posted, but here are my thoughts:
I spoke to four people: Az. State Senator Ken Bennett, Jaquelibe Breger (the Presenter), John Thaler (the investigator and Attorney and one of the notaries of the second trust deeds. I also reviewed the presentation in detail and read the deposition of Richard Salazar.
My conclusion was that the gist of what was in the presentation is true, but may be mistaken on some of the people involved. Example:
Ken Bennett, AZ State Senator is named. I called him, left a message, told him my name, left my number and explained my purpose: Investigating the presentation for a possible article to be printed at a specific website: American Thinker. He called me back the next and we had a 30-minute chat. He was very upfront and I believed what he said. My main reason for believing him is that he called me back to openly discuss this situation, not the action of a man who had something to hide
John Thaler advised he was working with AG's in five states and that charges are pending in some of those cases. He has also met with the FBI and DOJ. I had been given information that caused me to question his credibility, but when asked about specific issues, he cleared those concerns up. Again he was believable. Note also the atempts that were made on his life already.
In the deposition of Mr. Salazar, he gave addresses of two locales that he saw suspicious activity at. Both addresses were confirmed (via google maps). One address was that of "Runbeck" ( the guys involved in counting absentee ballots).
The whole story is potentially huge and time will tell. But I fear this is far deeper than imagined and that this is somehow going to go away.
There is NO WAY on God's green earth that any admissions regarding vote fraud or cartel-bought state governments can be made by the entities running our little Fake Government.
